Our office will be closed from July 1st to 14th as I travel for work on a very special project!
I’m honoured to be serving as the Accessibility Coordinator for the Naparima College Drama Club's production of "Alpha". We'll be representing Tobago at the Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival 🎭 where I’ll be working on developing and implementing accessibility measures for audience members with disabilities 💙♿️
During this period:

Today I’m especially grateful to share this endorsement from the Trinidad and Tobago Blind Welfare Association 💛 a reminder of the continued journey to ensure that every learner, no matter their ability, can access the support they need to thrive.
Over the past 10 years, we’ve been privileged to walk alongside many incredible students with hearing impairments, using educational therapy to build confidence, strengthen skills, and open doors to learning. With this specialized training, we are now better equipped to do the same for students who are blind or vision impaired. 🦯📚
Educational therapy is not one-size-fits-all. It's about meeting each child where they are, respecting their unique journey, and providing tools and strategies that honor their strengths.
Every child deserves a chance to learn in a way that works for them and my heart is full knowing we can continue creating safe, inclusive spaces for ALL our learners. 🌈💛

Holistic Learning Center Limited was born out of a simple desire: to reach marginalized students of Trinidad and Tobago. The students who are isolated because of differences in educational needs. Those being left behind because they cannot keep up with standardized testing and rote learning practices. Those who are being forgotten, fading into the background amidst overcrowded classrooms and understaffed schools.

This is a question that we, as educators, ask ourselves time and time again and at HLC our wide range of services allows us to meet this challenge head-on. We partner one-on-one with students, tailoring literacy-based educational plans to fit each student's unique needs. We team up with exam students, teaching them crucial study tips alongside syllabus content, encouraging a genuine love for learning. We nurture adult learners, who so often have faced challenges beyond our wildest imagination; yet who rise again, embracing life-long learning in the truest sense.
