This patient called us in panic after sustaining a superficial laceration to the scalp. We rushed over to his home and provided our services immediately.

A focused history and examination was performed which warranted no further imaging.

The wound was irrigated, local anesthetic was injected to reduce pain and the laceration was sutured under aseptic technique.

The patient’s tetanus vaccination was also updated as his vaccination was not up-to-date.

Now, said patient is satisfied and is doing quite well after the incident.
