GOOD FRIDAY a day to be remembered as JESUS was crucified for our sins.......
Crucifixion was referred to as crudelissimum taeterrimumque supplicum, or “that most cruel and disgusting penalty.” Pliny the Younger (112) called Christianity a “perverse and extravagant superstition” because it preached Christ crucified (Epistulae, 10.96.4-8). Tacitus called it a “pernicious superstition.”

Working from home is now a necessity more than a benefit for some companies/businesses. However, as with everything, there are perks and perils associated with this. Employees will benefit from less stress levels not having to commute long hours to work and they will save time not having to worry about clothing, hair and make up :-) as they can work comfortably in their PJ’s.

The number one perk is remaining safe and thus keeping your family safe. Though in my humble opinion once you are characterized as an essential worker your entire family is at risk.

For those who are working remotely, here are some simple Do’s:

1. Do take frequent breaks.
2. Do set goals and targets and do stick to them.
3. Do check in as frequently as you can with your superiors as this creates an element of trust.
4. Do a daily activity log to show progress, deliverables and output for transparency.
5. Do make time for the kids, however do not be distracted by the household chores.

Businesses will benefit during this time, but not without a good strategy and do not worry about the office socializing and the collaboration, as the more persons at home during this time, the faster we will recover as a nation and return to some type of normalcy.

A confirmed case for Sweet TNT.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is characterized by mild symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough, and fever. Illness can be more severe for some people and can lead to pneumonia or breathing difficulties.

Remember to do your part TNT - wash you hands regularly and do exercise extreme precautions and avoid where necessary public and overcrowded places. Ultimately and most importantly, avoid international travel at this time.

If you are experiencing the symptoms outlined above, the MOPH is asking that you do not visit the hospital, however to call the hotline 227-4986 ext 215 or 624-3067 and they will dispatch a team to your home.

IT'S THE INTRODUCTION OF THE I LOVE EVENTS FEATURE...

I LOVE EVENTS.... and as a Planner myself there are TOP THINGS EVERY BUDDING EVENT COORDINATOR NEEDS TO KNOW.....

Today I will start with PICS.... IF NOT PICS WELL IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

This is my personal favourite as it’s also my motto – Today it’s a picture, tomorrow it’s a memory. Who says pictures doesn’t matter? Design and create a memorable event, use hashtags and photo props to encourage interactions and posts and also sharing easily amongst guests. Always remember, when coordinating your theme and your design.... everything is a backdrop for a photo moment.
