🚨 Dengue Fever: Essential Information & Prevention Tips 🚨

At Providence Wellness Centre, your health is our priority. We’ve created an informative video about Dengue Fever to keep you safe and informed. Here’s a quick overview:

🔍 What is Dengue Fever?
Dengue Fever is a mosquito-borne illness caused by the dengue virus. It’s widespread in tropical and subtropical regions, including Trinidad and Tobago.

❗ Symptoms of Dengue Fever:
High fever
Severe headache
Pain behind the eyes
Joint and muscle pain
Rash
Nausea and vomiting
Mild bleeding (nose, gums, or bruising)

💡 Prevention Tips:
Use mosquito repellent
Wear long sleeves and pants
Keep your surroundings clean and free of stagnant water
Use mosquito nets and screens

📞 When to Seek Medical Attention:
If you experience severe symptoms such as persistent vomiting, abdominal pain, difficulty breathing, or blood in the stool, seek medical attention immediately. Early intervention is crucial!

🚸 Important Tip for Kids:
Children are especially vulnerable to dengue fever. Ensure they use mosquito repellent and wear protective clothing, especially during the early morning and late evening when mosquitoes are most active.
