These statements from the Commissioner of Police in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, as gender based violence and more so violence against women & children continue to plage the country.

Do you believe a firearm will turn the tables? The COP states that the TTPS and any other law enforcement brance CANNOT give the assurance of protection.

Coupled with the right training and education, armed women can tip the balance of the scale and give themselves a fighting chance.

What about the men conducting these heinous acts? How can we reach them before a woman has to respond?

PARACORD BRACELET - WHY?!

Many people walk around with paracord bracelet as a style without knowing the true potential of this utility band.

A Paracord bracelet also called a survival band or 550 cord bracelets are braided in various styles with (initially) parachute cord, hence it's name.

Every single person you meet is a potential threat!

As pleasant as a person may initially seem, they may a wolf in sheep's skin. Do not take a nice smile for granted.

The purpose of sitting as far away from the driver is to give you time. Time means options and options increase your survivability!

If something feels off to you, (when possible) ask to get out of the car! Not possible to get out? Too dark or diesolate a location? Call the police. Do not hesitate especially if the driver refuses to stop or let you out of the vehicle.
