🇹🇹 As we celebrate our nation’s Independence, I feel especially proud to be doing meaningful work in the country I love, live in, and am noisily proud of ALL THE TIME!
It’s a joy to use my skills to help elevate the standard of care for our people…and to truly walk the talk of building a better Trinidad and Tobago. ❤️🙏🏾
Looking ahead, my hope is that high-quality community palliative care will become as accessible as any other public health service, with more inpatient options available for those who need them.

We were honored to welcome Mr. Peter Cavindesh, the EU Ambassador, to LivHealth.

A powerful moment that allowed us to showcase the heart of our mission: community, compassion, and care.

She never imagined that emptying a bedpan could change her life.

At 22, Keisha was working part-time in a local corner shop and caring for her grandmother in the evenings.

The days were long, and the work often thankless, but caregiving taught her something no job ever had: patience, purpose, and the quiet strength it takes to care for someone who can’t care for themselves.

✨ When Keisha heard about LivCare’s caregiver training programme, she took a leap of faith.

No experience? No problem.
What she brought was heart, and we gave her the tools.

From learning proper hygiene and mobility support to understanding how to communicate with elders who feel forgotten, Keisha discovered something she never expected. A career with meaning.

🙏 Today, she’s one of over 80 compassionate, skilled caregivers who have found employment through our programme. Her grandmother was one of her very first clients. Thanks to Keisha’s training, she’s now able to offer the kind of dignified, thoughtful care every elder deserves.

At LivCare, we’ve trained over 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ caregivers and helped many find meaningful employment. We’re committed to preparing each participant for real-world opportunities. We’re building local capacity to care for our aging population, while creating dignity and direction for those ready to serve.

Care work isn’t easy.
