Solari was founded in January 2014 by board-certified music therapist, Martina Chow. She is a graduate of New York University's, Master of Arts programme in Music Therapy, and has extensive hands-on training and experience within the music therapy field. Observing the need for such services in Trinidad and Tobago's burgeoning private health sector, Ms. Chow created Solari to fulfill the need of Trinibagonians to heal, grow, learn, express themselves aestheically, and to achieve their full human potential. Individual, diad and small group therapy sessions are available to children and adults with various developmental delays, physical disabilities, and mental disorders.

Music Therapy is a clinical, evidence-based service facilitated by a board-certified music therapist, using music intentionally to support therapeutic goals.

Therapeutic Music uses music to promote comfort and well-being, but it is not clinical treatment.

Understanding the difference ensures individuals receive the right type of support for their needs.
