Ashtanga Yoga is a traditional style of yoga taught and popularised by the late Sri K. It is now taught worldwide and is the method from which many popular modern day styles of yoga have developed such as vinyasa yoga, power yoga and hot yoga. These classes focus on introducing students to the foundations of the Primary Series, the first of a set of predetermined sequences of poses practiced in Ashtanga.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Namaste everyone! There will be no Glencoe classes on MONDAY 9th or THURSDAY 12th of May as I will be attending a workshop with David Robson, a visiting Ashtanga teacher.

Other classes will continue as normal.

For any students looking to learn more about Ashtanga from a world renowned teacher, I recommend checking out his schedule while he's here!
