Dear Valued EMS Stakeholder,
The Council of Emergency Medical Personnel Board, thank you for engaging with us in our recent live stakeholder consultation meetings. Influenced by your valued contributions, we are in the process of constructing a pathway forward, which will incorporate our shared perspectives and that we trust would be amiable to all stakeholders.
We want to extend an invitation to you in the near future, which would allow you to be part of a subcommittee assembled to further deliberate on the design and mechanism of the Registration Process of Prehospital Personnel. The subcommittees' ultimate mandate would be to finalize a Green Paper that reflects the proposed path forward. That document would be shared, further tweaked and eventually evolved into the proposed policy's foundation (White Paper), fit for Ministry of Health (MOH) sign-off.
In the Interim, we will petition the MOH/Permanent Secretary (PS) to postpone the looming January 15 deadline for publication of a list of Registered Emergency Medical Personnel (EMP).
Please know that we value your continued comments and suggestions.

Yours in Service,
Amaly St. Cyr
Secretary, Treasurer/Registrar.
