Vitas House Hospice Trinidad and Tobago Enhancing the quality of life and dignifying its terminal stages through special care, support, and service. What is a Hospice?

A hospice, in earlier days was a place of shelter and rest for the weary or sick traveler – a refuge. In 1967, Dame Cicely Saunders, founder of the modern hospice movement opened St. Christopher’s Hospice in London, England, specializing in the care of dying cancer patients. Vitas House is a free hospice for terminally ill cancer patients, providing palliative care to anyone in need. You, your family and your doctor will decide together when hospice care should be given.

The Chairman and Board of Vitas House Hospice extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came out and supported us at our inaugural “I Walk to Remember” event held on Saturday.

Your presence made the occasion truly meaningful, and we are deeply appreciative of the love and encouragement shown. A special note of thanks goes to our valued partners and sponsors, whose generosity and commitment made this memorable event possible.
