Dry Ingredients:
1½ cups oats, ground into oat flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp BareOrganics Maca Root Powder
1 tsp BareOrganics Ashwagandha Root Powder
½ cup sugar
2 cups flour (any kind)
Wet Ingredients:
1½ cups pureed ripe banana
2 tbsp honey
⅛ tsp almond extract
¼ cup coconut or olive oil
¾ cup milk (any kind)
1 egg
Add-ins:
¼ cup almond or peanut butter (drizzle on top)
¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix oat flour, baking powder, maca, ashwagandha, sugar, and flour.
In another bowl, whisk together banana puree, honey, almond extract, oil, milk, and egg.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
Drizzle nut butter on top, then sprinkle with chocolate chips if using.
Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
Store leftovers in the fridge.
