Early closure of the Grand Couva & Freeport Health Centres on Friday July 25th, 2025

The SWRHA advises members of the public of the early closure of the Grand Couva & Freeport Health Centres on Friday July 25th, 2025 from 1:00 pm, due to scheduled environmental maintenance.

Alternatively, the nearby Couva District Health Facility remains open for all emergency cases.

The Heath Centres will reopen on Monday July 28th, 2025 at 8:00 am.

The SWRHA appreciates and thank you for your understanding.

On Saturday 12th July, 2025, SWRHA in collaboration with the Krishna Mandir and Healthy Mind Foundation hosted a Voluntary Non-Remunerated Blood Donation Drive at Todd Street, San-Fernando. Available services also included Diabetic Counsellor Services and Mental Health Counselling. The SWRHA extends our appreciation to all our community organisations and look forward to more strengthened partnerships.

Women in Action for the Needy and Destitute (WAND) officially launched the Pages of Hope initiative, bookcases filled with uplifting, inspiring books placed in hospitals to bring light and encouragement to patients and clients. The Cancer Centre of Trinidad and Tobago-South is pleased to partner with WAND to bring hope and healing to our valued clients.
