Cancer Survivors' Day - Sunday 01st June, 2025..........wow........at a loss for words. We attended the Church Service (Holy Mass) at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church where special prayers were said for us, our organization and others. We were then invited to share some delicious eats and drinks including tasty pone made by our very own member, Venita. We were joined by the Church's communication team since they were also celebrating World Communication Day. Thank you to Father Brent Alexis and Deacon Nigel Thomas for blessing us, our organization and the eats and drinks. Thank you to all who made this possible, we felt the love.
Next stop was SGI ‐ T & T Buddhist Centre to join their prayer meeting for World Peace. Our welcome was exceptional!!
Then it was onto the 66th birthday celebration with our very own Patricia and her family and friends, words cannot describe. It was so comfortable, it felt as if it was not our first time visiting.
Last but certainly not least, visited a friend who was recently diagnosed, unfortunately did not get a photo of him but can always add later on. Once again, having not been in touch for too long, we spent some quality time, ensuring that our support is there for him. Of course, we had to share a drink to complete our evening 😁 Looking forward to celebrating Cancer Survivors Month - June, 2025.

Today we celebrated the life of one of our founding members, Merlin Corbin. It's never easy saying goodbye, however, hearing your story, the lives that you touched, made it very comforting to accept that you have completed your earthly life. Rest in eternal peace my friend. You may be gone but surely would not be forgotten.

We are back out on the water......every Saturday, join us in dragon boat training!! 'Cancer Prevention Month' is celebrated in February annually. This is an invitation to ALL breast cancer survivors (BCS), to join our team or form your own BCS team. Not a BCS then join our dragon boat club, there is opportunity for all to enjoy this awesome sport. Excited to see everyone!!
Training schedule: Saturdays 8.30 ‐ 10am
Venue: Dragon Boat Centre - Chaguaramas between Castor's Cove & Skallywag Bay.

E.A.R.S. (Embracing All Real Survivors) Cancer Support Foundation continued our initiative today at Trinidad & Tobago Prison Service Administration, 'taking care of our men', by providing prostate testing to the male staff. Our heartfelt appreciation must be extended to , Health Policy, Research & Planning Department staff for their continued support. As we approach 2025, let us place a lot more attention on our health and wellbeing. We commit to offering the support that may be required to raising awareness regarding cancer and coping with the journey.
