Holistically You Helping women to start thriving and stop surviving during the hurdles of life I started off my own personal journey back in 2008 after my daughter was born.

As a full time employee, student, mom and wife juggling all aspects of life was demanding and tiring at times. Most days I found every excuse not to work out. But I started doing Beachbody programs and the accountability I got from the groups were amazing. I soon became a coach myself in 2011. My passion for helping others and motivating them to reach their health and fitness goals only grew, and in 2015 I discovered the concept of health coaching. I becamed certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach back in 2016. What is a Health Coach? A Health Coach is a supportive mentor and wellness authority who works with clients to help them feel their best through food and lifestyle changes. Instead of prescribing one diet or way of exercising, Health Coaches tailor individualized wellness programs to meet their clients' needs. Relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food you eat. My aim to assist you to achieve your fullest potential and hold you accoutabile to reach your wellness goals.

Through divorce, sickness, death, loss and so many other life lessons of 2025.

I think I can sum up what I learnt into these three things

I am a mother, an HSE Manager, a Wellness and Lifestyle Coach, but when no one needs me and it's just me, I am also Nariscia Nicole. Don't make life twist you so much that you forget who you are.

It's hard to walk away. It's hard to start over but what I keep getting reminded is that I am not starting at zero.

And that timeliness society has placed on us that makes us anxious and worried that we missed the mark. Throw that away. God knows the plan for your life. Trust him

I did an exercise recently where I had to reflect on 2025 and everything that I learnt. Man if we shift focus life really doesn't feel so bad. I learnt so many amazing lessons and it also helped me to come up with a pretty impressive gratitude list.

So instead of worrying so much on what you have no control over, do a reflection list instead.

✔️ What didn't
✔️ And the game plan for improvement

It's OK to griece and still find joy in the moments of life

Don't allow the darkness to take over, surround yourself with Good people and learn to live again

Get out of your own way

Stop avoiding the growth because it feels uncomfortable or it's not the way you expected it to be.

2025 almost broke me
Divorce
Death
And many life hurdles (perimenopause included - if you know you know)

And in-between the chaos you tell yourself I can't any more.

Then a friend messages you and says you know if I didn't know your story I would never tell you were so badly beaten because you are strong and stay showing up

And that hit different. Because to me I wasn't showing up, not the way I wanted. But to her she saw me still shining despite the hurdles of life.

So here's to moving forward, building as we go, one step at a time. Why? One small step consistently adds up over time.

Sometime we are so use to being strong and doing everything ourself that we forget that we have a village who wants the best for us.

During grief, during life, allow your village in

Most times you hear people say no one was their for them but reality is many times we are the ones that push people away during our tough times.

Wellness tip

When emotions feel overwhelming, take some time to ground yourself

You can literally practice grounding, by reconnecting with nature, Go to the beach or take a walk, do some gardening, connect to the earth

You can start refueling your body with healthy food. Or if you like me indulge in a bit of savory with fruit chow courtesy

I know sometimes you want to be alone but connecting with family and friends help to boost you in ways you didn't even realize you needed

And when all else fails, just be in the moment, relax, write down your thoughts, release it, don't battle it in

September was suppose to have been the month I started back sharing and being present. Then life happened.

And honestly the old me wants to crawl into a hole and have no one contact me. But the new me that I made a promise to after my divorce knows I need to show up and do it authentically.

So God laid it on my heart to use this space I have created to use my pain for purpose all while still helping women to thrive.

Reflections as I enter my birthday month

The strength of a woman is not measured by the impact that all her hardships in life have had on her; but the strength of a woman is measured by the extent of her refusal to allow those hardships to dictate her and who she becomes. -C. JoyBell C.

The past few months taught me so many beautiful things
And I am forever grateful

It has also taught me about myself and the things I needed to let go of as I continued my healing journey. They were brought to light, and I had to make conscious decisions to go through the hard emotions and deal with the issues. So that I could be a better person going forward

The past year has taught me about losses and grief. And it's harder to mourn for people who are alive as they leave your life, whether temporarily or otherwise. The beauty in the loss is this, let go of expectations, appreciate what you got in the moments (because they were beautiful moments) and the lessons you learnt so that you can be stronger and better. And trust God as the new chapters come into play.

All these are steps to prepare you for the next chapter.

And hear this ladies we also mourn and grieve for the old us, the one in our head. But we focus so much on the old that we sometimes don't appreciate who we are now. When I tell you I had 2 minds to post this pic because all I saw were my flaws. A few pep talks later, i was reminded of the strength of me, the new me, the developing me

My name is Nariscia Philip-Peters. I am an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach for EnergiseHER Wellness and Co-founder of Aspire Farmers (fondly known as the Kale Lady), all founded under Holistically You.

As a Health Coach, and also a certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Conditioning Association I assists women to find their rhythm on their wellness journey through proper nutrition, physical activity, stress management and self love.
