Good day everyone another tip for Cleaning in Excellence:-

These four simple home decor tips can make all the difference in your cleaning routine.

1. Choose Elevated Furniture. Having sofas, side tables, and other furniture with elevated legs makes it a lot easier to get a broom or vacuum underneath them when you need to clean the floors. If you’ve already invested in furniture that sits on the ground, a set of furniture sliders can make them a lot easier to move around.

2. Pick Easy-To-Clean Paints. Have you ever noticed that it’s easier to erase smudges and stains from smooth or shiny surfaces? It’s equally true of walls with smooth finishes, which you can achieve by picking interior paints that have an eggshell finish. When messes do appear on eggshell-painted walls, a Magic Eraser makes short work of them.

3. Select A Stain-Resistant Sofa. You can’t prevent spills from happening, but you can make the cleanup easier by choosing a sofa that resists staining. Microfiber and leather are both good choices for couch upholstery if you’re buying a new one, but if you already have a couch that stains easily, consider investing in a washable slipcover or treating it with Scotchguard.

4. Skip Open Shelving. Open shelving can look beautiful, but they offer zero protection from the dust and dirt floating around your home. Glass-front cabinets allow you to admire your decor while keeping it cleaner, but if you already have open shelving, try treating them with a dusting spray to help repel dust and dirt.

Another Tip for Today...Enjoy peeps

When you don’t want to pull out your iron and ironing board, use this to spray wrinkles away.

Ever had one of those days when you just don’t have it in you to haul out your iron and ironing board for that one slightly rumpled shirt? If so, don’t wait to make this homemade wrinkle release spray, which uses vinegar and hair conditioner to help relax the fibers in fabric so that wrinkles just melt away.

Personally, I’ve found it to be especially useful to take on trips. It’s great for getting rid of wrinkles when I’m pulling my clothes out of my suitcase, and it’s certainly a lot faster than ironing everything!

Here’s how to make it:

Remove the spray top from a spray bottle, then use a funnel to pour 2 cups of water, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of hair conditioner into the bottle. Replace the spray top on the bottle and shake to combine.

To use your wrinkle release spray, lay the wrinkled item out on a flat surface and make sure the nozzle on your spray bottle is on the mist setting. Lightly spray the wrinkled areas, gently stretch the fabric to coax out the wrinkles, then allow the item to dry completely.

Another Tip for Today:-

Keep mold and mildew in check by making this super simple (and all-natural) cleaning spray.

Mold and mildew thrive in warm, damp environments, so if they’re growing in your home, chances are they’re doing so in your bathroom. But most instances of mold and mildew can be taken care of with a natural two-ingredient cleaning solution.

There’s white vinegar, which should never be underestimated as a cleaner and disinfectant, plus tea tree essential oil, known for its anti-fungal and antibacterial properties that make it an excellent addition to natural cleaning solutions like this one.

Here’s how to make it:

Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into a glass spray bottle and add 20 drops of tea tree essential oil. Replace the spray top and shake to combine. Use your homemade mold and mildew cleaner once a week to keep your tubs and showers clean and to remove small spots of mold and mildew as needed.

(By the way, this mold and mildew cleaner is one of the seven cleaning recipes included in my set of adhesive spray bottle labels. They make it even easier to make another batch of your favorite homemade cleaners after using them all up!)

Cleaning Tip for Today:-

Incorporate any of these simple ideas into your laundry routine to save time and make life easier.

1. Invest In A Drying Rack.
To avoid over-drying your clothes, dry them for about 20-30 minutes in your dryer, then hang them on a drying rack to dry the rest of the way. If you’re short on space to set up a rack, consider spaces you can forgo for just a few hours, like your shower stall, bathtub, or even your garage.

2. Treat Stains Right Away.
When it comes to treating stains on clothes, time is of the essence. To get to stains faster, keep your preferred stain remover wherever you usually get undressed at the end of the day. Then you can treat stains while you’re still thinking about it rather than hoping you’ll remember to do it later.

3. Treat Stains On The Cheap.
Speaking of stain removal, there are plenty of inexpensive ways to remove clothing stains. Dampen a bar of Fels Naptha laundry soap, even the white "blue soap" and rub it onto the stain, or pour boiling water over it. For grease and oil stains, use cornstarch, baby powder, or baking soda to absorb excess oil.

4. Get More Organized.
Avoid future laundry mishaps by keeping a dry erase marker near your washing machine. Use it to write notes directly on your washer about what’s in the current wash load or what shouldn’t go into the dryer afterward. The notes will wipe away easily and you can start fresh with the next load.

5. Dry Things Faster.
Adding a dry towel to your dryer can help speed up the drying process by absorbing some of the excess moisture. Another option to speed things up is to do another spin cycle after your wash cycle ends, which will help remove even more water from your clothes before they go into the dryer.
