Most “behavior problems” aren’t problems, they’re signals.
When you understand the why, everything changes.
If you’re tired of repeating yourself and not seeing progress, it’s probably time to approach things differently.
Message me “SUPPORT” if you’re ready for strategies that actually work.

As part of Autism Awareness Month 2026, Film Focus Nevis hosted a screening of The Unbreakable Boy at Nevis Performing Arts Centre on 26th April, followed by an insightful panel discussion.

The Unbreakable Boy tells the inspiring true story of a young boy with autism and brittle bone disease whose courage and joy transform his family and everyone around him.

Special thanks to our panellists:
• Mrs. Ivorcia Browne, Supervisor of the Nevis Island Administration Counselling Unit and Advanced Certified Autism Specialist
• Mrs. Josette Myers, Supervisor of Maude Smith Pre School
• Dr. Andrea A. Bussue, Principal of Nevis Academy
• Mrs. Samona Davis, Behaviour Analyst, Autism Consultant, and Founder of AIDE Behavioural Consulting

Each panellist shared valuable knowledge and expertise on autism, including its signs and symptoms, the importance of early intervention, and the need for greater awareness, inclusion, and support for individuals and families affected by autism.

Thanks to those who came out to join us for this meaningful and informative screening event.

From 2 hour tantrums just to get out of the car to calm, successful days.
This is why I do what I do
If you’re a parent feeling stuck with behaviors that seem impossible to manage.
If you’re dreading simple things like leaving the house because of your child’s behavior, it doesn’t have to stay this way.
Change is possible with the right support.
DM me “SUPPORT” if you’re ready for real, practical change and to learn more about my parent coaching.

April is Autism awareness month! Cape Air Palm Garden Nevis

They expect you to manage behaviors…
calm meltdowns…
teach skills…
But no one actually trained you how.

And then they blame you when it doesn’t work.

It’s not your fault.

But staying untrained WILL cost you : burnout, frustration, and children not progressing.

My Aide Intensive Workshop is THIS Saturday.
4 hours + 8 weeks support.

If you’re working with a child next term, you need this.

Message “training” now.

Most aides are trying their best... but without training, it’s guesswork.
This Saturday, I’m teaching EXACTLY what to do:
✔️Behavior
✔️Communication
✔️Real Classroom Situations

4-hour live training + certificate + ongoing support.

Being an aide isn’t enough.
Being an *effective* aide takes training.

I’ve seen well-meaning aides:
– freeze during meltdowns
– speak for non-speaking children
– accidentally make behaviors worse

Not because they don’t care… but because no one ever taught them what to do.

That’s exactly why I created this workshop.

Inside, you’ll learn:
✔️ How to support communication (even without words)
✔️ How to reduce problem behaviors
✔️ What to actually DO in real-life situations
✔️ How to build independence, not dependence

Because when aides are trained, everyone wins — the child, the teacher, and the parent.

⚠️ Limited spots. Happening this Saturday.

I kept hearing the SAME thing from parents over and over again:

“I hired an aide… but I don’t think they actually know what they’re doing.”

And honestly? They’re not wrong.

Most aides are thrown into classrooms with:
❌ no real training
❌ no behavior strategies
❌ no communication tools

So what happens?

The aide feels overwhelmed.
The child becomes frustrated.
The teacher is stretched thin.

And everyone is trying their best… but it still ends in chaos.

Here’s the part no one talks about 👇🏽
I used to be an aide.

So I KNOW what it feels like to walk into a classroom and be expected to “just handle it” with zero guidance.

Now, as a behavior analyst, I see the same pattern every single day:

Parents hire someone who genuinely wants to help…
But they’re guessing their way through meltdowns, communication struggles, and behaviors they don’t understand.

That’s not fair to the aide.
And it’s definitely not fair to the child.

So I did something about it.

I created a hands-on aide training workshop that teaches:
✔️ How to actually manage behavior
✔️ How to support communication (even without words)
✔️ How to prevent meltdowns before they start
✔️ What to DO in real-life classroom situations

This is the training aides SHOULD have gotten from the start.

If you’re:
✔️ A parent struggling with an untrained aide
✔️ An aide who wants to feel confident (and get hired more)
✔️ Or someone looking to become an aide and do it RIGHT

This is for you.

⚠️ Limited spots. Small group. Practical training only.

Or send this to someone who NEEDS this before the school term starts.

April is Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month

Awareness alone isn’t enough.

Awareness says: “I know autism exists.”
Acceptance says: “I understand, I respect, and I support you as you are.”

As a behaviour analyst, a mom, and someone who works closely with children and families every day I’ve seen how much of a difference true acceptance makes.

Autistic children don’t need to be “fixed.”
They need to be understood. Supported. Given the tools to thrive in a world that isn’t always built for them.

This month (and every month), let’s:
• Listen more than we label
• Support instead of judge
• Create spaces where all children feel safe, seen, and valued

Awareness opens the door.
Acceptance is what changes lives.

11/03/2026

Most aides want to help.
They just aren’t always given the training they need.
So I’m building the training I wish existed when most aides start working with neurodivergent students.

Launching soon 👀
