Meet Sai๐Ÿ’ซ, one of our Counselling Psychologists! We're excited to have her as part our team ๐Ÿ‘ฅ.
Sai brings calmness, understanding and a grounding presence๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ to our children, young people and adults.

She enjoys working with children who may have school anxiety, worry, ADHD, stress, low self esteem and low confidence. Sai is known for her active listening๐Ÿ‘‚, while helping young people and young adults cope with life's challenges such as loss, grief, parent separation, peer difficulties, work/life balance, anxiety and depression.

๐Ÿ’› At TSCPL, Sai is clinically supervised under the guidance of our Lead Psychologist, Dr. Krystal-Jane Verasammy.

Very often we use the term OCD incorrectly, but OCD is a mental health anxiety disorder that affects 1-2% of the general popultation.

OCD involves intrusive thoughts, images or memories known as obsessions that cause a great deal of anxiety. In order to alleviate this anxiety a person may use specific behaviours, impulses or uges known as compulsions.

OCD may affect a person's quality of life, their functioning and relationships.
