《護理創新無國界--科技與心血管疾病照護國際會議圓滿結束》

由泰國心血管-胸腔護理協會、泰國西那瓦大學、蘭實大學、彰化基督教醫院共同辦理之第九屆「科技時代與全球心血管暨胸腔護理照護」國際研討會於 2025年12 月 15 日至 16 日假彰基國際培訓中心舉行。本次研討會，成功匯聚來自泰國、台灣與日本等知名護理學者、臨床專家與科技先驅，吸引近70位台泰醫護專業人參與，現場也展示護理創新成果海報，與會人員互動熱絡，共同打造一場跨文化、跨領域、充滿前瞻思維的知識交流盛宴。
研討會重點包括人工智慧、資料庫應用與無縫醫療模式融入心胸血管護理實務，強調新興科技如何改變病人照護、教育與專業訓練。透過專題演講、互動討論、海報發表，以及參訪彰化基督教醫院，讓與會者瞭解如何透過創新方案提升護理照護的品質、安全性與永續性。本次盛會不僅強化跨國的學術與臨床交流，也使護理專業人員站在科技驅動時代第一線，塑造未來醫療體系的前沿位置。
活動最後，與會貴賓也參訪了彰基總院，實地走訪藍瑪烈安寧紀念病房、智慧護理站，深入了解智慧護理系統、心血管病人照護，與智慧藥櫃的實際運作，體驗科技如何讓護理與醫療流程更智慧、更安全。

《Borderless in Nursing Innovation: “Technology Era and Global CVT Nursing International Conference Concludes Successfully 》

The 9th International Conference on “Technology Era and Global CVT Nursing”, jointly organized by the Thai Cardiovascular–Thoracic Nursing Association, Shinawatra University, Rangsit University, and Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH), was successfully held from December 15 to 16, 2025, at the CCH International Education and Training Center.
The conference brought together distinguished nursing scholars, clinical experts, and technology pioneers from Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan, attracting nearly 70 nursing and healthcare professionals from both Taiwan and Thailand. On-site nursing innovation poster presentations further stimulated dynamic interactions, creating a vibrant platform for cross-cultural, interdisciplinary, and forward-looking knowledge exchange.
The conference focused on integrating artificial intelligence, database applications, and seamless care models into cardiovascular and thoracic nursing practice, highlighting how emerging technologies are transforming patient care, education, and professional training. Through keynote speeches, interactive discussions, poster presentations, and hospital visits to CCH, participants gained valuable insights into innovative solutions that enhance the quality, safety, and sustainability of nursing care. This event not only strengthened international academic and clinical exchange but also positioned nursing professionals at the forefront of shaping future healthcare systems in a technology-driven era.
To wrap up the event, honored guests toured the CCH main medical building, visiting the Miss Joy Margert Memorial Rose Randall Palliative Care Unit and the Smart Nursing Station. They gained firsthand insights into the operation of the smart nursing systems, cardiovascular patient care protocols, and automated dispensing cabinet, experiencing how technology is making nursing and clinical processes smarter, safer, and more efficient.

From 2018 to 2025, Changhua Christian Hospital responded to the Thai medical industry cooperation program through in-bond and out-bound activities to facilitate the relations between Taiwan and Thailand. 配合政府新南向政策及南太平洋行動醫療團巴紐計畫，本院於 12 月 1 日至 6 日邀請來自泰國聖路易大學、泰國衛生部護理局、曼谷基督教醫院、吞武里醫院、三美泰醫院、泰國慈濟基金會，以及巴布亞紐幾內亞中央省衛生局與國家首都區衛生局等共 20 位合作機構高階主管來台，展開為期六天的學習交流之旅並參加 2025 台灣醫療科技展。
此次行程內容豐富，包含彰基智慧護理站、大數據中心與 AI 中心介紹、參與 AI 工作坊以及了解員林基督教醫院智慧醫療管理系統導入成果，讓來賓深入認識本院在智慧醫療與跨國合作上累積的成果與經驗；同時亦安排參加 2025 台灣醫療科技展，至彰基於展中的「體驗館」實際操作自主研發的智能產品與臨床應用，並與多家醫療及科技廠商現場交流，共同探討智慧醫療發展趨勢與未來合作契機。
行程最後也安排台北城市文化體驗，包含西門町、龍山寺、台北 101、中正紀念堂及國父紀念館等地標，讓貴賓在專業學習之外，也能感受台灣多元的人文魅力，為此次醫療與文化交流之旅畫下豐富而難忘的句點。



In alignment with the government’s New Southbound Policy and the South Pacific Medical Service Project in Papua New Guinea, CCH invited 20 senior executives from partner organizations—including Saint Louis College of Thailand, the Nursing Division of the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, Bangkok Christian Hospital, Thonburi Hospital, Samitivej Hospital, Tzu Chi Foundation Thailand, as well as the Central Provincial Health Authority and the National Capital District Provincial Health Authority of Papua New Guinea—to visit Taiwan from December 1 to 6 for a six-day professional learning and exchange program. The delegation also participated in the 2025 Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo as part of the visit.

The itinerary was rich and comprehensive, featuring to learn CCH’s Smart Nursing Stations, Big Data Center, and AI Development Center, along with participation in an AI training workshop. The delegates also visited Yuanlin Christian Hospital to learn about the implementation of the Smart Medical Management System, gaining deeper insight into CCH’s smart healthcare achievements and international collaboration experiences. In addition, through their participation in the 2025 Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo, the group experienced CCH’s innovative medical products and clinical applications showcased at the "Experience Pavilion," while also engaging with leading medical and technology companies to explore emerging trends and potential future partnerships.

On the final day, a cultural tour of Taipei was arranged, with visits to iconic sites including Ximending, Longshan Temple, Taipei 101, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. This allowed guests to experience Taiwan’s vibrant cultural landscape, concluding the medical and cultural exchange program as both insightful and memorable.

彰化基督教醫院醫療團，再次與泰國清萊 Overbrook Hospital(OBH)的醫療團隊合作，於 2025 年11月 23日至11月 29 日，深入泰北邊界四個偏鄉地區，將專業醫療服務送給最需要的人。四天義診服務近 2300 人次！
彰基醫療團涵蓋多個重要科別，包括海外醫療中心高小玲執行長（團長）、黃偉勝醫師（耳鼻喉科）、鐘文群醫師（牙科）、沈泰杉醫師（骨科）、黃祖源醫師（神經外科）、陳運泰醫師（中醫部）、楊杰實習醫師（中醫部）、何抱治醫師（婦產科），以及廖思涵專案助理。另衛福部派駐馬來西亞代表吳玲瑩組長也遠從馬來西亞至泰北加入醫療服務團隊。
除在偏鄉衛生站的醫療服務，我們也前往各衛生站鄰近的學校舉辦洗手與刷牙衛教等健康促進活動，提升學童的健康識能。同時，也將募集的文具與玩具親手送到孩子們手中，為泰北偏鄉的孩子們帶來了健康知識與溫暖鼓勵！ 服務的最後一天，也參訪Overbrook醫院及院史館，OBH 院長親自與我們分享未來醫療服務的推動方向與發展願景，讓彰基與 OBH 對彼此的醫療使命與目標有了更深一層的認識，為未來的交流與合作奠定了堅實的基礎。



The medical mission team from Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) once again partnered with the medical team of Overbrook Hospital (OBH) in Chiang Rai, Thailand. From November 23 to 29, 2025, the team traveled deep into four remote border communities in Northern Thailand, delivering essential medical services to those who need them most. Over four days, the mission provided free consultations to nearly 2,300 patients!
The CCH medical mission—led by Dr. Nina Kao, CEO of the Overseas Medical Mission Center—included specialists in otolaryngology, dentistry, orthopedics, neurosurgery, traditional Chinese medicine, and obstetrics and gynecology. In addition, Ms. Wu Ling-Ying, the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s representative stationed in Malaysia, traveled from Malaysia to Northern Thailand to join the healthcare service team.
Beyond clinical services at rural health centers, the team also visited nearby schools to conduct health-promotion activities such as hand-washing and tooth-brushing education, improving children’s health literacy. Stationery and toys collected through donations were personally delivered to students—bringing both health knowledge and heartfelt encouragement to children in remote Northern Thai communities.
On the final day, the team visited Overbrook Hospital and its historical exhibition hall. The OBH President personally shared the hospital’s future direction and vision for healthcare development. This exchange deepened the mutual understanding of CCH and OBH’s shared mission and goals, laying a strong foundation for continued collaboration and partnership in the years ahead.

《彰基獲社研卓越獎 - 扎根弱勢照護、推展醫療外交》

彰化基督教醫院連續獲得衛福部「醫療財團法人社研卓越獎」肯定，由榮譽副院長周志中醫師代表領取2025年「醫療救濟獎」。彰基自創院以來以「醫療救濟」為使命，從急救教育、偏鄉與弱勢補助到兒童重症外接、法律義診與國際醫療合作，持續守護最需要的人。
今年獲獎的醫療救濟方案橫跨偏鄉、離島到海外，展現深耕社會責任的力量。周志中表示，彰基每年支援 400 多場活動急救、提供重症兒跨院免費轉送，也將法律與醫療帶到馬祖，更協助索馬利蘭、巴布亞紐幾內亞以及泰國提升醫療量能，讓台灣醫療走向世界。
邁向 130 年，彰基將持續以專業與愛心推動弱勢照護、急救教育與國際醫療合作，讓醫療平權落實每一個角落。

《CCH Wins the Medical Research Excellence Award for Medical Foundations Again — Caring for the Vulnerable, Connecting to the World》

Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) has once again been recognized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare with the 2025 Medical Assistance Award under the “Medical Research Excellence Award for Medical Foundations,” received on behalf of CCH by Honorary Vice Superintendent Dr. Chih-Chung Chou.
Since its founding, CCH has upheld “medical assistance” as its core mission—providing emergency education, supporting rural and disadvantaged patients, offering free inter-hospital transfers for critically ill children, delivering pro bono legal-medical services, and advancing international medical cooperation.
This year’s awarded programs span rural communities, offshore islands, and international partners, reflecting CCH’s long-standing commitment to social responsibility. Dr. Chou noted that CCH supports over 400 emergency medical services for large events annually, provides free transfers for critically ill children, brings combined legal and medical outreach to Matsu, and assists Somaliland, Papua New Guinea, and Thailand in strengthening medical capacity—bringing the warmth of Taiwan’s healthcare to the world.

彰化基督教醫院（彰基）與巴布亞紐幾內亞（簡稱巴紐）拉包爾省Nonga醫院自2016年起展開合作，惟於2020年因疫情暫停。事隔五年後，彰基醫療團於2025年10月7日至19日再次前往Nonga醫院，重啟雙邊醫療服務與交流。期間，拉包爾省Nonga醫院亦升格為東新不列顛省衛生局（East New Britain Provincial Health Authority, ENBPHA），雙方並更新合作備忘錄（MoU），持續深化醫護人員培訓與專業交流。

此次醫療團由彰基海外醫療中心執行長高小玲博士率領，團員包括胸腔內科張時榮醫師、心臟內科林芸醫師、骨科石久煜醫師、耳鼻喉科林耕緯醫師、營養師林易澂及管理師鄭涴玹。醫療團抵達後受到Nonga醫院熱烈歡迎，期間舉辦多場專題講座，分享骨科、耳鼻喉科、心臟內科及胸腔內科之新技術與臨床指引。此外，團隊亦前往Divine Word University附設St. Mary護理學校，開設癌症營養衛教講座，協助師生建立正確的臨床營養觀念，獲得熱烈迴響。

醫療團亦經由首都莫士比港醫院（Port Moresby General Hospital, PMGH）引介，前往中央省Kwikila醫院進行參訪與交流，了解當地醫療需求並評估後續合作方向。同時，彰基並邀請Kwikila醫院院長Dr. Ovia與國家首都區省級醫院院長Dr. Robin來台參訪，除參觀智慧醫院及醫療系統外，亦將出席今年度台灣醫療科技展（Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo），親身體驗台灣智慧醫療產品與技術成果。




Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) has collaborated with Nonga Hospital in Rabaul Province, Papua New Guinea (PNG) since 2016. The partnership was temporarily suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic. After a five-year hiatus, the CCH medical team returned to Nonga Hospital from October 7 to 19, 2025, to resume medical service and professional exchange.

During this visit, Nonga Hospital was officially upgraded to the East New Britain Provincial Health Authority (ENBPHA). CCH and ENBPHA renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen cooperation in healthcare personnel training and professional development.

The mission was led by Dr. Hsiao-Ling (Nina) Kao, Executive Director of the Overseas Medical Mission Center at CCH. The team members included Dr. Shih-Jung Chang (Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine), Dr. Yun Lin (Cardiology), Dr. Chiu-Yu Shih (Orthopedics), Dr. Keng-Wei Lin (Otolaryngology), Dietitian I-Cheng Lin, and Ms Wan-Hsuan Cheng (PM).

The team received a warm welcome from Nonga Hospital. They delivered multiple lectures and workshops, sharing the latest clinical updates and best practices in orthopedics, otolaryngology, cardiology, and pulmonary medicine. In addition, the team visited St. Mary’s School of Nursing, affiliated with Divine Word University, to conduct a nutrition education seminar focused on cancer nutrition, helping nursing faculty and students build accurate and practical nutrition knowledge — an event that was met with enthusiastic response.

Through the introduction of Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH), the team also visited Kwikila Hospital in Central Province to explore potential collaboration and assess medical needs. Furthermore, Dr. Ovia, Director of Kwikila Hospital, and Dr. Robin, Director of the National Capital District Provincial Hospital, have been invited to visit Taiwan. Their visit will include tours of smart hospitals and health information systems, as well as participation in the Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo, where they will experience Taiwan’s latest smart healthcare technologies and innovations firsthand.

2025 年 9 月 10 日，彰化基督教醫院海外醫療中心執行長高小玲受邀參加由經濟部產業發展署、金屬工業研究發展中心、倍智科技 (V5med Inc.) 與泰國代理商 TDD Trading Co., Ltd. 合作舉辦的揭幕儀式。該儀式於泰國 Vichaivej International Hospital 舉行，正式啟用 肺腺癌 AI 輔助檢測示範點。同場活動中，Srivichai Vejvivat Public Company Limited (VIH) 與台灣醫療團隊共同宣布導入由 V5med 研發的 「V5 Lung AI」人工智慧系統，協助醫師更精準與高效地診斷胸腔疾病，提升臨床治療的準確度與效率。此舉不僅展現了 VIH 積極引進國際創新科技的決心，也讓台灣智慧醫療的實力在泰國落地實踐。 整體計畫獲得 台灣經濟部工業局 的支持，象徵台灣醫療創新技術正式進入泰國市場，並推動兩國在醫療科技與公共衛生領域的深度合作。透過這次跨國協作，彰化基督教醫院也展現其在國際醫療合作上的積極角色，攜手多方共同致力於提升醫療標準與病人照護品質。



On September 10, 2025, Dr. Nina, Hsiao-Ling Kao, Executive Director of the Overseas Medical Mission Center at Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH), was invited to attend the inauguration ceremony jointly organized by the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Metal Industries Research & Development, V5med Inc., and Thailand’s agent TDD Trading Co., Ltd.. The ceremony took place at Vichaivej International Hospital, marking the official launch of the AI-assisted Lung Adenocarcinoma Screening Demonstration Site. At the same event, Srivichai Vejvivat Public Company Limited (VIH), together with the Taiwanese medical team, announced the introduction of the “V5 Lung AI” system, developed by V5med, to assist physicians in achieving more accurate and efficient diagnoses of thoracic diseases and improving the precision and efficiency of clinical treatment. This initiative not only highlights VIH’s commitment to adopting international medical innovations but also demonstrates Taiwan’s capabilities in smart healthcare technologies being successfully implemented in Thailand. The overall program is supported by the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan, symbolizing the entry of Taiwan’s medical innovation into the Thai market and promoting deeper collaboration between the two countries in medical technology and public health. Through this cross-border cooperation, CCH also underscores its proactive role in international medical collaboration, working hand-in-hand with multiple partners to enhance medical standards and the quality of patient care.

2025年9月13日，帶領來自巴布亞紐幾內亞的醫護人員與國際病人，展開了一趟精彩的台中文化之旅。首先走訪國立自然科學博物館，不僅欣賞了恐龍化石與宇宙奧秘，還巧遇館內正在舉辦的巴紐文化特展，讓參與者倍感親切與驚喜。午餐時間則安排台灣傳統小吃，讓大家透過美食體驗在地風味。隨後前往台中海洋館，欣賞多樣水生生態並學習保育知識，最後來到LaLaport購物中心，大家不僅享受了現代化的休閒氛圍，也挑選伴手禮，為即將結束的台灣旅程留下美好回憶。這趟旅程在知識、美食與文化的交織中，成就了一個難忘的一日行程，也讓國際友人對台灣的自然、人文與生活風貌留下了深刻印象。



On September 13, 2025, we arranged medical staff and international patients from Papua New Guinea (PNG) on a memorable cultural journey through Taichung. The day began at the National Museum of Natural Science, where participants explored dinosaur fossils, the mysteries of space, and delighted in a special exhibition on PNG culture—an unexpected highlight that sparked joy and a deep sense of connection. For lunch, the group savored traditional Taiwanese dishes, discovering local flavors through food.
In the afternoon, the tour continued at the Taichung Aquarium, offering insights into marine biodiversity and Taiwan’s conservation efforts. The day concluded at LaLaport Taichung, where guests experienced a modern lifestyle setting and selected souvenirs to carry home as mementos of their time in Taiwan.
This one-day journey blended knowledge, flavors, and cultural discovery, leaving our guests with lasting impressions of Taiwan’s natural wonders, rich heritage, and everyday life.

本(2025)年8月31日至9月6日，彰基醫護團隊前往泰國，拜會駐泰國台北經濟文化辦事處、泰國公共衛生部護理局 (Nursing Division, MOPH)，以及多家合作醫院，包括華僑醫院 (Hua Chiew Hospital)、曼谷基督教醫院 (Bangkok Christian Hospital)、三美泰醫院 (Samitivej Thonburi Hospital)，並受邀參加泰國聖路易大學 (Saint Louis College, SLC) 創校40週年國際學術研討會，展開為期一週的交流行程。
此次參訪除分享本院於安寧緩和照護、人工智慧於護理系統應用與護理教育的實證經驗外，也實地驗收智慧藥櫃示範點的使用成果，並與泰國醫院深入交流人力培育、數位轉型與護理人力短缺的因應等。同時，亦就智慧醫療推廣、跨國護理教育合作及領導力培訓等議題與合作單位交換意見，獲益良多。
透過本次行程，彰基不僅展現台灣醫療軟實力，也汲取泰國在智慧醫療、醫療觀光與護理教育上的經驗，期望持續推動跨國合作，強化醫衛交流與研究，提升台灣醫療的國際能見度。

From August 31 to September 6, 2025, the delegation of Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) visited Thailand to strengthen healthcare collaboration. The itinerary included meetings with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand (TECO) and the Nursing Division of the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), as well as hospital visits to Hua Chiew Hospital, Bangkok Christian Hospital, and Samitivej Thonburi Hospital. The delegation was also invited to attend the 40th Anniversary International Conference of Saint Louis College (SLC) in Bangkok.

During the visit, CCH shared its experience in palliative and hospice care, AI applications in nursing systems, and evidence-based nursing education, while also evaluating the performance of the Smart Medication Cabinet pilot project. In-depth discussions were held on workforce development, digital transformation, and strategies to address nursing workforce shortages. Furthermore, dialogues with TECO and the MOPH emphasized opportunities in smart healthcare promotion, cross-border nursing education, and leadership training for young professionals.

This visit not only highlighted Taiwan's medical expertise, but also enabled CCH to learn from Thailand's advancements in smart healthcare, medical tourism, and nursing education. Moving forward, CCH is committed to fostering cross-border cooperation, enhancing medical education and research, and expanding Taiwan's visibility on the international healthcare stage.

本(2025)年8月22日，彰基婦產部王彥筑醫師受邀參加本院印尼姊妹醫院 Universitas Kusuma Husada Surakarta (UKSH)舉辦之妊娠高血壓與子癇前症的治療(Management of Hypertension and Preeclampsia in Pregnant Women) 國際線上研討會，分享孕婦子癇前症的早期檢測相關經驗。除彰基講者外，還包括馬來西亞 Universiti Kuala Lumpur - Institute of Medical Science Technology, Muhammad Norzein Ab. Rahim專家、印尼Kasih Ibu Surakarta Hospital婦產部Dr. Robert Ridwan、以及印尼Kusuma Husada University 助產學程Hutari Puji Astuti專家等，分享子癲癇前症的急救經驗與預防。本研討會吸引超過350位師生參與，活動圓滿結束。

On August 22, 2025, Dr. Yan-Zhu Wang from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) was invited to speak at the international midwifery webinar “Management of Hypertension and Preeclampsia in Pregnant Women” organized by our Indonesian sister hospital, Universitas Kusuma Husada Surakarta (UKSH). Dr. Wang shared clinical experiences on the early detection of preeclampsia in pregnant women.

In addition to Dr. Wang, the seminar also featured presentations by Muhammad Norzein Ab. Rahim from Universiti Kuala Lumpur – Institute of Medical Science Technology, Malaysia, Dr. Robert Ridwan from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kasih Ibu Surakarta Hospital, Indonesia, and Hutari Puji Astuti from the Midwifery Program at UKSH, Indonesia, who shared insights on emergency management and prevention strategies for preeclampsia.

The webinar attracted more than 350 faculty members and students, fostering fruitful academic exchange and concluding successfully.

本院與泰國Overbrook Hospital攜手合作，自114年7月1日至7月31日，接待並培訓泰國Nongkhai Wattana醫院2名護理師，以及寮國Alliance International Medical Centre之1名醫師與1名護理師，共計4名醫事人員。

From July 1st to 31st , 2025, our hospital is honored to collaborate with Overbrook Hospital in Thailand to host and train four medical professionals: two nurses from Nongkhai Wattana Hospital in Thailand, and one physician and one nurse from the Alliance International Medical Centre in Laos.
This partnership strengthens cross-border medical exchange and demonstrates our hospital’s commitment to medical education and international collaboration. Through this professional interaction, we aim to enrich healthcare expertise and jointly enhance the quality of medical services in the Thailand and Laos.
