嘉義大學牧場醫學研究室 A place for students and friends to communicate about ruminants, wild animals, and tortoise diseases.

本研究室除精進研究工作外，亦負責下列臨床工作，並專注於正確治療及正確處置。

《草食動物》
※內科：以理學檢查、血液學檢查及超音波等工具，協助現場農民解決各類草食動物內科問題。
外科：親至現場服務，進行臍帶照顧、去角、蹄病、去勢、瘤胃及第四胃手術。各類複雜手術則於學校內進行，以減少術後照顧的風險。
※產科：以超音波協助農民進行牛、羊姙娠診斷及相關疾病。
※一般其他普通病及傳染病：以分子生物學方法、細菌鑑定及流行病學資料，分析疾病，找出風險，並控制及降低疾病傳播風險。
乳房炎：以全面管理方式，協助進行榨乳程序、病原監測及體細胞數控制，期待以最方便的方法，達到最良好的乳品質。

《野生動物》
※含野禽及烏龜，進行一般野禽之傳染病控制、外科及各類內科疾病。以環境監測方法，分析疾病成因，達到良好飼育的目標。
