Non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for approximately 85% of all lung cancers. Patients with NSCLC require a complete staging workup to evaluate the extent of disease, because stage plays a major role in determining the choice of treatment.

PlexBio IntelliPlex™ Lung Cancer Panel is capable of detecting 74 gene mutations and 28 RNA fusions derived from plasma (liquid biopsy) or FFPE tissues for targeted therapy selection in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). PlexBio and Denka co-developed and launched a one-stop solution for detecting COVID19 variants - IntelliPlex™ SARS-CoV-2 Variant Analysis Kit.
IntelliPlex™ SARS-CoV-2 Variant Analysis Kit is able to simultaneously detect SARS-CoV-2 virus and its multiple variants in one reaction utilizing patented πCode™ MicroDisc technology, which was developed by PlexBio. πCode™ MicroDiscs are made of silicon wafer and serve as message carriers in molecular analysis assay. Each πCode™ MicroDisc is as tiny as 40μm in diameter and is imprinted with a unique circular ID. It can be designed to be conjugated with either a nucleic acid probe or antibody for nucleic acid analysis or immunoassay, respectively. This technology allows up to 85,000 unique πCode™ MicroDisc IDs, enabling simultaneous analysis of multiple targets in one reaction. Any πCode™ MicroDiscs that successfully capture targets will generate fluorescence signals, which along with their unique IDs can be recorded by an optical scanning system. The IntelliPlex™ SARS-CoV-2 Variant Analysis Kit can deliver a resulting report in just 1.5 hours. Given COVID19 variants are one of the key factors driving recent pandemic development, this kit will hopefully be a promising solution to the pandemic.
