因應數位科技化時代，107年本會取得震旦集團傳善獎基金公益補助，成立『甘丹數位學院』，以建構熟齡生活品質與長期照顧需求的數位學院，學院中以優雅生活及友善照顧為主軸，服務50~65歲之熟齡者，此階段會遇到許多人生的改變，如家庭空巢期、照顧失能父母、退休、健康改變…等，在心情、生活、資源等各方面，都得重新找方向、重心，甘丹數位學院整合此階段會面臨的狀況、議題，透過數位學習，將生活變得豐富、有趣，能零距離的學習。
In response to digital technology era, Stella Matutina Social Welfare Foundation established GanDan Academy after receiving Public welfare subsidy provided by Aurora Group’s Goodwill Fund in 2018 to help aging people with maintaining good quality of life and meet the needs of long-term care. Elegant life and friendly care are two main approaches of the college, serving the people aged from 50 to 65 who may encounter some changes in their lives, for example, empty-nest period, taking care disabled parents, retirement, physical condition changes etc., and be necessary to look for a new direction and value of life. GanDan Academy aims to integrate all the situations and issues that aging people would have to face at the stage of life. Life can be abundant, interesting, and zero-distance learning by digital learning.
【甘】：取之味覺甜味，意指『快樂』、『豐收』；另有植物為『甘草』中醫有『調和諸藥』之效；期許希望每次照顧與學習都是令人回甘的美好滋味。
【甘Gan】：taste sweet, to mean “happiness”, “harvest”also; there is a kind of plant named『GanCao』 in mandarin, that is“liquorice”,which has an effect of integrate all kinds of medicine, and we expect the flavor of care and learning each time is prolonged sweetness.
【丹】：在東方文化中等同『藥』，有療癒之意。
【丹Dan】：equals to “medicine”in oriental culture which means being cured.
甘丹用閩南語發音有『簡單』，讓每個人都能是簡單的日子(GanDan Day)，其中G、D又可解釋為Good Day，好日子。透過數位化，能簡單、方便享受終身學習。
“GanDan ”means “simple ”in Minnan dialect, and just let everyone leads a simple life. GanDan Day is simple day. G and D can also represent Good Day. Enjoy life-long learning simply and conveniently by digitization.
【家+好】：東方社會中『家』是社會發展的核心，使每個家庭經由線上課程，增進全能照顧與終身學習能力，開啟視野，共創美好長照社會。
【Home + Good】：’Home’ is the core of social development in oriental society. Through online lessons, every family can improve their all-round care and life-long learning ability, widen their visions and establish a good long-term care society together.
