This weekend, I had the privilege of joining the Consensus Camp at CMU. 🌿

I feel deeply grateful to work alongside such talented and dedicated colleagues. This year also marks my 10th anniversary with the CMU family — a journey filled with learning, challenges, and growth.

Special thanks to Chairman Tsai for the inspiration and guidance along the way. 💛

A moment of gratitude captured during our Joint Symposium on Advances in Medical Technology and Patient Care in Kuching this July.

At the event, , Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, graciously presented us with this hornbill — the iconic bird of Borneo. 🌿🕊️

The hornbill carries a deep cultural and spiritual meaning. Having it with us now enriches the energy of our office space, and symbolizes the strengthened bond and friendship between Taiwan and Sarawak.

Thank you once again, , for this thoughtful gift — a true bridge of connection between our missions and our hearts. 💛

✨ The most meaningful recognition is not about positions or titles, but when your journey is invited to be shared and heard.

Grateful for the opportunity to exchange our international medical experiences with the team at Taichung Tzu Chi. This moment is not only about me, but about the collective efforts of a dedicated team that has worked across borders for years to serve patients with trust and compassion.

Healthcare is never a solo act—it is a bridge built by many hearts and hands. 🌱

🌏✨ Mid-Year Reflections:thank you all

During this morning’s meeting, Superintendent Cho highlighted the efforts and achievements of our International Medical Center. He pointed out that international healthcare is never easy—especially here in central Taiwan—yet together we have made solid progress.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all colleagues across CMUH departments for your collaboration and support. Every physician, nurse, and staff member who has dedicated time and energy plays a crucial role in making this work possible.

Most importantly, thank you to our patients and families who have placed their trust in us. It is your confidence that allows us to deliver not only world-class medical care, but also compassion and hope.

And of course, my deepest appreciation to the International Center team. Your dedication and attention to every detail are what keep us moving forward on this challenging but meaningful journey. 💪💙

It has been a long and challenging three weeks.💪
A distinguished guest from Singapore suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage while on a business trip in Taiwan and was rushed to the hospital. Her condition was once extremely critical and uncertain. Thankfully, under the dedicated care of Dr. Hung-Lin Lin’s neurosurgery team and Dr. Wei-Liang Chen’s team, she miraculously regained consciousness in the past two days and was able to return home safely on a medical evacuation flight to Singapore.

Before boarding the air ambulance, her husband said with deep emotion:
“Although this was an unfortunate accident, having it happen in Taiwan was truly a blessing in disguise. If my wife had collapsed in Indonesia or the Philippines, the local medical technology might not have been able to save her life. We are so fortunate this happened in Taiwan.”

Taiwan’s medical expertise and professional teams gave this family a second chance at hope.
Heartfelt thanks to every medical staff member who made this possible—because of you, the world once again sees the excellence and warmth of Taiwan.🥰👍

🎤【Four Years, One Bridge|Speaking for Life at a Crossroads of Faith】🌏✨

Yesterday, I was invited to deliver a luncheon speech at the Sarawak Neurosurgery Conference 2025.

The venue? The UNIFOR Complex — a landmark established by the Sarawak government to honor religious harmony and cultural diversity.
But the most amazing part? I only discovered the significance of this place after arriving in Kuching.
What seemed like coincidence felt more like a divine arrangement — a quiet call from the universe. 💫

My talk was titled “Four Years, One Bridge.”
Over the past four years, our team has built a medical bridge — step by step, from Taiwan to Malaysia, especially Sarawak — across cultures, languages, and systems.
Not to show off, but because I truly believe: someone is waiting for us.

🌱 I’m not a native English speaker, and I’m no professional presenter.
But I stood on that stage with full sincerity and heart.
This wasn’t just a report — it was an invitation:
To see how, even across great distances, we can move closer, together.

In front of me sat neurosurgeons, nurses, and students from all over Malaysia.
My voice may not have been polished —
But I hoped they could hear the message behind it:
We’re here to walk beside you, and care for more patients — together.

🌟 Thank you to all the visible and invisible forces behind me —
To my partners on the ground, and to the higher wisdom and guardians I deeply trust.
This talk wasn’t mine alone.
It was a chapter of connection — between this land, its healers, and this moment in time.
