A Choice of Love and Trust 💙
A mother and her child from Palau had been receiving care at another medical center.
When faced with the critical need for a liver transplant, they chose to place their trust in Mackay Memorial Hospital, traveling across the ocean in search of hope.
Today, the surgery has been successfully completed. Although staying in separate rooms, the mother and child are able to see each other through the adjacent windows—sharing smiles and encouragement across the glass.
This simple yet powerful connection of love and courage deeply moved our entire care team.
