She couldn’t open her hand… until this.

After a car accident, a tear in a neck artery led to a stroke.
From that moment on, the left side of her body was never the same.

Her hand became tight, spastic, clawed.
Her leg felt weak and unstable.

And through all of this—
she still had a child to care for.

The problem wasn’t just the muscles.
It was the brain.

This is a real case from a live teaching session.

In just two treatments,
her hand began to open.
She started walking again—with confidence.

This is not just recovery.
This is reconnection.

Daoyin: Precision Matters in Recovery

Many people ask what Daoyin is.

It is the art of guiding function to where healing begins.

What if recovery is not about doing more—
but about guiding better?

The more precise the guidance,
the greater the transformation.

Daoyin is not just exercise.
It is a system that directs function—
through breath, movement, sound, pharmacological input, and acupoint stimulation—
to restore balance where it is needed most.

Watch the video carefully — the difference before and after ZSA may surprise you

At the 2026 Los Angeles Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture (ZSA) course, we examined a demo patient 8 months after stroke.

At first glance, she looked well recovered.

Before treatment:
• Gait: Normal
• Tandem test: (+)
• Single-leg stance: (+)
• Pulse: Left Chi thin and weak

Her main complaint:
⚠️ Occasionally placing her foot incorrectly when going up or down stairs, causing leg sway and instability.

This subtle deficit often reflects impaired postural coordination after stroke.

ZSA: the brain controls everything—so we start there

“Galia, I love you.”
Three words he couldn’t say anymore—until ZSA gave his voice a second chance.

ALS had attacked his medulla and taken his speech.
There’s no treatment.
But he and his wife refused to accept silence.

After Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture class demo-session, his tongue began to respond, his articulation returned—
and he said clearly:
“Galia, I love you.”

If you want to learn techniques that bring real treatment change—

our ZSA training is now open for registration.

Four months after a severe spinal injury, the patient lost all movement and sensation in his legs.

Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture was applied as part of a live class demonstration — aiming to awaken the brain and spinal cord, restore Qi and blood flow, and stimulate self-healing and neuroplasticity.

Healing begins when the brain awakens.

The core of ZSA — needling and Dao Yin — regulates the Shen, harmonizing Qi and blood throughout the whole body.

This integrative approach bridges TCM and neuroscience, emphasizing the brain’s central role in recovery and self-healing.

When Qi and Blood flow in harmony, the spirit settles, and life naturally finds its rhythm again—當氣血流動和諧,生命會慢慢找回節奏

Today, in our webinar on Parkinson’s Disease and tremors, we explored how different PD cases reveal different TCM patterns — yet all ultimately return to the same principle: restoring the balance of Qi and Blood.

Many people think Parkinson’s disease is simply a problem in the brain — but the truth may be far deeper.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it is said that “Qi gives rise to all diseases.” When Qi becomes chaotic, the body’s harmony begins to crumble.

From a biomedical view, Parkinson’s involves the death of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra and abnormal protein aggregation. Some emerging studies showed it may also originate from the gut or kidneys.

In Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture (ZSA) clinical observation, we see something deeper — imbalanced Qi and Blood, organ interaction disorders, and disharmony of the Shen (spirit).

When Qi flows smoothly and the spirit settles, healing begins — and life naturally regains its rhythm.
