朱明清頭皮針Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture-鍼鼎善 Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture-Zhen Ding Shan was named by Dr. Zhu and founded in 2015 with his disciples, Dr. Shy Ru Shan and Dr. Chang Sheng Chun. Lu.

It is Asia’s ZSA institution recognized by Dr. Zhu and Dr. Moyee to promote heritage, training, and education. 朱明清頭皮針(Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture)，又稱朱氏頭皮針，是以針刺頭皮的一些特定區域來治療全身疾病的一種治療方法．為國際知名針灸大師朱明清教授在其夫人彭芝芸女士協助下所創立，以中華醫學理論為指導，臟腑經絡學說為基礎，再通過長期臨床病例驗證後所總結歸納而得出治療方法．具有療效佳，效果快的特色．1991年在美國San Jose設立全球首家朱氏頭皮針神經診所，目前由蕭慕如醫師及魯啟元醫師所主持，2015年台灣台北診所由朱教授台灣嫡傳弟子：施如珊醫師及張勝鈞醫師於成立開幕．

Zhu Ming Qing Scalp Acupuncture, also known as Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture, is a treatment that applies acupuncture to specific regions of the head to treat systemic diseases. Developed by the internationally renowned acupuncture master Professor Zhu Ming Qing and his wife Ms. Peng Zhi Yun with Chinese medical theory as a guide, viscera meridian theory as a basis, and long-term clinical verification, to make a treatment method that has high efficacy and fast effects for patients. In 1991 the world’s first Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture neurological clinic was established in San Jose, California, and is led by Dr. Moyee Sui and Dr. James C. In 2015, the Taiwan acupuncture clinic was opened by Professor Zhu’s disciples Dr. Sheng Chun Chang and Dr. Ru Shan Shy.

Background: What is Dystonia?

Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder characterized by involuntary, sustained or intermittent muscle contractions, which result in abnormal postures, twisting motions, or repetitive movements.
It may affect any region of the body and is classified into:
• Focal Dystonia – localized to a single area (e.g. neck, eyelids, or hands)

• Segmental Dystonia – involving two or more adjacent body parts

• Generalized Dystonia – affecting the trunk and at least one limb

• Hemidystonia – limited to one side of the body

• Task-Specific Dystonia – triggered during specific activities, like writing or playing instruments

Affected Areas: Neck, trunk, arm, and leg
Symptoms: Involuntary contractions, twisting postures, and movement limitations in multiple regions

ZSA Treatment Approach

In this demonstration, we applied Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture (ZSA) targeting the following areas:
• Upper jiao
• Lower jiao
• VPF
• Cervical

These areas were chosen based on the affected motor regions and ZSA’s systemic correspondence principles.

✔ EQ improved by +31.2%, especially in independence & emotional sensitivity
✔ Significantly more effective than traditional body acupuncture

Who is it for?
Preschool children aged 3–5 years

How do we know it works?
Data from a 2021 clinical study conducted in Indonesia, using professional IQ assessments and the Vineland Social Maturity Scale (VSMS).
Statistical validation used paired t-tests and N-Gain analysis, with results showing significant improvement (p < 0.05).
