We are inviting local creators, artisans, and small businesses to join our Christmas Bazaar on Thursday, December 4, 2025. It will be a joyful marketplace filled with holiday spirit, unique finds, and community cheer.

Our visitors include international families and local community members looking for Taiwan inspired products, souvenirs, and special gifts.

We are especially interested in vendors who offer:
🎁 Handmade or locally crafted goods which has Taiwan-related culture, custom and memories which can creative souvenirs or small gifts perfect for holiday giving
🎁 Products that promote a Christmas atmosphere
🎁 Products prices are not too expensive (ideally less than 1,500NTD per product)
🎁 Table spaces are limited. Priority will be given to vendors who have previously participated in the Center’s Christmas Bazaar and received strong customer interest, or those with proven customer appeal and an active social media following that can help promote their booth.

With local food expert and chef Ivy Chen as our guide, participants explored one of Taipei’s most iconic traditional markets, a place where history, culture, and daily life come together in every aisle. From colorful produce 🥬 to fragrant spices 🌶️, handmade deli items 🥢, and unique regional ingredients 🍚, the market offered a window into Taiwan’s vibrant culinary traditions.

It’s amazing how much you can learn from a guided market walk! So much more than you would just shopping there every day! 💡 Ivy shared fascinating insights about traditional ingredients, cooking customs, and the stories behind many beloved dishes, giving us a deeper appreciation for local food culture. We wrapped up the tour by sharing a delicious lunch together! 🍽️

Back in March, we spent a gorgeous day exploring Wulai’s breathtaking scenery — from the majestic waterfall (the tallest in northern Taiwan!) to the cultural treasures of the Wulai Atayal Museum. Guided knowledgeable Tobie Openshaw , participants wandered through the lush riverside paths, savored treats along Old Street, and learned about the rich Atayal indigenous heritage that makes this area so special.

Have you ever watched a group playing Mahjong and wondered what all the excitement was about? Here’s your chance to find out!

In this five-session hands-on class, you’ll learn the basic rules of international Mahjong, a traditional Chinese tile game that’s all about strategy, memory, and a little bit of luck. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll practice as you play, gaining the confidence to join any Mahjong table by the end of the series.

It’s fun, social, and a wonderful way to experience a cherished part of local culture while meeting new friends!
