在地面上，菊苣（Chicory）綻放著天藍色的花朵。花姿輕盈、細緻、柔美，向所有人敞開。
在地面下，植物卻擁有極為深長的主根，牢牢將它固定。
菊苣代表血脈與祖先的能量——一條不斷延續的線索，從過去延伸而來，影響著我們當下的行為與思想。
當失衡時，菊苣的狀態會變得過度控制；
當保持平衡時，它則展現無條件的愛，以及沒有期望牽絆的付出，正如菊苣在地上與地下的對比一般。
在人生旅途中，我們不斷創造新的事物。每一次停頓與突破常規，都是汲取根部滋養、尋求新可能的契機。
然而，若我們過於緊緊依附於根源，或許就會錯過為自己與他人建構更美好未來的機會。
那纖細的花朵象徵著溫柔，而深沉的根則帶來堅定的力量——菊苣為我們帶來的啟示是：生命的和諧來自於花與根的平衡。
Above ground, Chicory sports flowers of celestial blue. The flowers are light, airy, delicate and open for all to witness. Below ground, the plant has an incredibly deep tap root that anchors it in place.
Chicory is an essence of lineage and ancestry, the unbroken line from the past that can determine how we behave and think in the present.
Out of balance, the Chicory state is controlling. In balance, it creates unconditional love and a readiness to give that is unencumbered with expectations, as can be seen in the contrast between Chicory above and below ground.
As we progress through life, we are constantly creating the new. Each hiatus and break with normality is an opportunity to gain nourishment from our roots to seek new possibilities. Should we cling to our roots too firmly, perhaps we will miss the opportunities to build a better future for ourselves and others.
The delicate flowers suggest gentleness and the roots bring strength of resolve – Chicory shows us that harmony in life comes from balancing flower and root.
