印度台北協會與台中市西區大同國小合作舉辦「甘地兒童繪畫比賽」，以「在和諧中共存」為主題，邀請全校920名學生共同參與，共收到173件作品。評審團從中選出前三名及40件佳作，並於10月14日舉行頒獎典禮。獲獎作品也在大同國小校園藝廊展出。印度台北協會副會長查文雅、大同國小校長廖曉柔，以及臺中市政府國際事務委員會委員林慧芬等貴賓出席觀禮，聆聽得獎學生分享創作理念，展現孩子們以畫筆傳達聖雄甘地的和平願景。

The India Taipei Association, in collaboration with Da-Tung Elementary School in Taichung, organized the “Gandhi’s Painting Competition for children” under the theme “Coexisting in Harmony.” All 920 students participated with 173 final submissions. The judges selected three top winners and 40 outstanding works, with an award ceremony held on October 14. The winning artworks are also displayed in the school’s art gallery. Mr. Vinayak Chavan, Deputy Director General of the India Taipei Association, Ms. Hsiao-Jou Liao, Principal of Da-Tung Elementary School, and Ms. Hui-Fen Esther Lin, Commissioner of the Taichung City International Affairs Commission all attended the ceremony to hear the young winners share their creative ideas—beautifully expressing Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of peace through the eyes of children.

《泰晤士高等教育》近日發布2026年世界大學排名，印度位列全球第二，共有128所大學入榜！創下新高紀錄。其中，班加羅爾印度理工學院（IISc）持續領先，榮登201–250排名區間，展現印度高等教育的卓越實力。

India ranks second worldwide in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026, with a record 128 institutions featured this year! Among them, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore continues to lead the nation, proudly holding its place in the 201–250 band.

India, which ranks behind the United States—with 171 institutions leading the list—is followed by Japan with 115 universities and Turkey with 109 universities | Latest News India

渣打集團「貿易的未來︰韌性」報告針對全球1,200名企業高階主管進行調查，瞭解其對未來3-5年全球貿易前景的看法。調查發現，有六大市場在跨國企業供應鏈重組中脫穎而出。其中，印度是受訪企業最青睞的市場，原因在於印度不僅是成長最快的主要經濟體之一，更具有龐大人口紅利，逾四成受訪企業計劃擴大在當地的貿易與製造活動。
Standard Chartered Group’s report “The Future of Trade: Resilience” surveyed 1,200 senior corporate executives worldwide to understand their outlook on global trade over the next 3-5 years. The survey identified six key markets emerging as top destinations amid global supply chain restructuring. India ranked as the most favored market among respondents—not only because it is one of the fastest-growing major economies, but also due to its large demographic advantage. More than 40% of surveyed companies plan to expand their trade and manufacturing activities in India.

印度《經濟時報》報導，Google計劃在印度首度大手筆投資 100 億美元，擬在安得拉邦維沙卡帕特南打造 1 GW 數據中心與其附屬電力基礎設施。這是 Google 在印度的首個此類設施，也是其在亞洲地區規模最大資料中心群。根據統計，截至 2025 年中，印度已有超過 150 座資料中心。Google 的新建設將進一步推升印度在亞洲雲端基礎設施市場的地位。
According to a report by The Economic Times of India, Google plans to make its first major investment of USD 10 billion in India to build a 1 GW data center and supporting power infrastructure in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This will be Google’s first facility of its kind in India and the largest data center cluster in Asia. Statistics show that as of mid-2025, India already has more than 150 data centers, and Google’s new project is expected to further strengthen India’s position in Asia’s cloud infrastructure market.

印度台北協會於10月1日至29日，與台中國立公共資訊圖書館共同舉辦「探索聖雄甘地的傳奇」攝影展。精選數十幅珍貴照片，完整呈現甘地的一生。10月1日攝影展開幕式上，印度台北協會副會長查文雅與國立公共資訊圖書館館長馬湘萍皆出席致詞。查文雅副會長強調甘地「非暴力追求自由」的理念，不僅是印度獨立的重要基石，更與台灣長久以來堅持的民主、人權與和平價值相互呼應。

The India Taipei Association is holding a photography exhibition titled “Exploring the Legacy of Mahatma Gandhi” at the National Library of Public Information in Taichung from October 1st to 29th. The exhibition features dozens of precious photographs, presenting a comprehensive view of Gandhiji’s life.
At the opening ceremony on October 1, India Taipei Association Deputy Director General Mr. Vinayak Prataprao Chavan and the Director General of the National Library of Public Information, Ms. Hsiang-Ping Sophia Ma, delivered speeches. Mr. Chavan highlighted Gandhiji’s philosophy of “non-violence in the pursuit of freedom,” noting that it was not only a cornerstone of India’s independence but also resonates with Taiwan’s long-standing commitment to democracy, human rights, and peace.
