Visited Zhonghua Junior High School in Yilan to share wound care knowledge with 120 school nurses across Yilan County.
From theory to hands-on practice, we also discussed wound health literacy in school settings.

The discussion was lively—school nurses raised many practical questions, leading to meaningful exchanges.

Yilan is my hometown.
The school health office was the place I visited most as a child.
School nurses were key figures who inspired me to become a nurse.

Today’s talk was filled with gratitude.
I’m thankful for the chance to give back, even in a small way.

AI x Wound Care — A Model of Innovation at Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital

Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital has demonstrated outstanding advancement in the field of wound care. Led by a professional team including Director Hui-Chun Chung (鍾惠君 主任) from the Nursing Department, Professor Chu-Chun Lin (林祝君 老師) from Tzu Chi University, and Senior Wound Care Nurse Specialist Mei-Yu Hsu (許美玉 資深傷口護理師), the hospital has collaborated with interdisciplinary experts to integrate artificial intelligence technologies and develop a more human-centered and precise clinical wound care model.

This innovative practice—merging clinical expertise, AI technology, and cross-disciplinary collaboration—highlights the significant potential of smart healthcare in wound management and serves as an exemplary model worth learning from.
