This workshop will focus on practical training in 3D laparoscopy and Da Vinci surgical systems, complemented by expert lectures on our three main themes.

🌼 Advanced Equipment Experience:
In collaboration with Karl Storz, we have several sets of 3D laparoscopy imaging equipment and coordinated with the Da Vinci system provider to supply two units. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in animal practice sessions utilizing both 3D laparoscopy and Da Vinci surgical systems.

🌼 Extended Animal Lab Sessions:
We have allocated a full day for animal lab sessions, allowing participants to delve into advanced techniques such as single-port surgery and ureteral anastomosis through hands-on training.

🌼 Specialized Lectures:
On the following day, we have organized a series of lectures covering the latest trends in 3D laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and Da Vinci surgery. Topics include technical insights, complication management strategies, and discussions on initiating these surgical procedures.

🌼 Dry Lab Training:
Concurrent with the lectures, we have arranged dry lab sessions for in-depth learning of hysteroscopy operations and Da Vinci surgical simulations, providing participants with comprehensive and practical training.

The Asia-Pacific Association for Gynecologic Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy represents over 15 associations in the gynecologic field worldwide. APAGE provides various scientific and educational activities for doctors; for example, workshops for Laparoscopic Gynecologic Oncology Surgery & Hands-on Animal Workshop, Single Incision Surgery and Robotic Surgery. The APAGE Annual Congress is also the largest gynecologic meeting in the Asia-Pacific region. It also holds congresses in conjunction with its affiliated societies, which are becoming increasingly popular within this region. From 2012, we will publish its official journal, Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Therapy, for offering doctors in this region an option to share their latest academic research achievements.
