ChitoClot Gauze is made from 100% chitosan non-woven fabric. It utilizes chitosan’s cationic charge to attract platelets and support clot formation.
It also promotes healing by maintaining a moist environment and providing an antimicrobial barrier that helps reduce infection risk.
The materials are biodegradable and non-allergenic, and the products are available in pads, gauze, and bandage formats. These are suitable for various clinical scenarios including trauma, dialysis, PCI, and emergency care.

【安適康保健室：人工皮使用須知123】
人工皮（水膠體敷料）具有防水、防菌、隔絕汙染等功能，能幫助傷口維持濕潤，吸收傷口分泌物，促進傷口癒合，適用於淺層乾淨傷口。此類傷口在乾淨濕潤環境狀態即可癒合，故不需塗抹藥膏。
若觀察傷口有紅、腫、熱、痛等感染徵兆就不建議使用人工皮，免得將污染物包覆在傷口裡，延緩傷口癒合時間。

國外術後傷口照護有許多方式，其中負壓傷口治療已被廣泛討論與使用，他能讓傷口能處於負壓環境，促進傷口血液循環與修復，並降低感染風險，有助於傷口癒合並降低併發症的發生機會。
