Hi! My name is Britt Lao. I grew up on magical, eclectic Salt Spring Island, in coastal British Columbia, Canada. My childhood was filled with wonder, stargazing, foraging, and the freedom to explore forests and seashores. As a young teen, I drifted away from my core values of respecting and honouring nature, health, and those dearest to me.
Through affirmations, meditations, journalling, become a Reiki practitioner, and discovering a sense of community with people who also want to follow their truths and passions, I have come a long way back to my center. Sometimes I think it doesn’t look like much on the outside, but the way I feel and how I perceive the world around me has completely changed. Instead of feeling like I’m being tossed around in the river of life, I have a sense of calm now as if I am in the flow, part of the river itself.
Although my own healing is far from complete and not every day is perfect (I’m human, and still growing!), it’s time for me to take what I have learned and share it with others, so that YOU may begin your journey as well. Through coaching sessions, I will help guide you back onto YOUR path, to YOUR true nature, to help YOU reconnect with yourself. I will help you identify and address the thoughts, beliefs and narrative that holds you back, and help you rebuild your thoughts so you can move forward with ease. You truly are the author of your own story!
It is by stepping fully into ourselves that we can ultimately give back to our community and shine our light on the world.
