2017 Guangzhou Press Conference
The 2017 Press conference held by Puloo Biomeditech co., ltd. (Puloo) and Rota Biotechnology co., ltd. (Rota) on 26 Aug in Guangzhou, China, announced that they have developed the highest-capacity mass-production line of the Rotatable Retractable Safety Syringe in the global market. The highest-capacity of mass production of safety syringes, 280 pieces/min has been far ahead of all of the competitors in the global market. The announcement shows not only the strong ability of developing automation system of medical device in China but also the proprietary technology of Puloo and Rota. The conference has attracted many well-known company in the industry from Taiwan, the US, Korea and Japan for further discussion of strategic partnership.
It is estimated that the global demand of the safety syringe is about 70 billion pieces, with market value over billions of dollars. In order to meet the global demand, Puloo is planning on expanding the manufacturing scale of the safety syringe production line.
“Injection is the most common treatment of medical behavior. After injection, the syringe is attached with patient’s blood or body fluid, which is infected and may cause fatal injuries”, said by Mr. Chen, the vice president of Puloo. The needle stick injury may cause blood-borne disease, such as HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. It is the global trend of using the safety syringe to avoid the accidental needle stick injury. Many countries have legislated of using the safety syringe, therefore, a well-designed safety syringe with rapid mass-production will be the most promising product to meet the market expectation. Based on Puloo’s expertise in proprietary mold research and development technology and innovative design, Rota decided to cooperate with Puloo in the development of the safety syringe production equipment to improve the precision of the safety syringe to micron level for more accurate user-operation.
