❌ When experiencing joint pain, there are certain types of foods that should be limited or avoided to alleviate symptoms or prevent exacerbating inflammation and pain. Here are some types of foods to consider restricting:
🔴Foods high in uric acid: Uric acid is a factor in joint inflammation. Therefore, it's advisable to avoid or limit the consumption of foods high in uric acid, such as red meat, seafood (especially squid, clams, oysters), instant noodles, beer, wine, carbonated drinks, and fast food.
🔴High-purine foods: Purines can also contribute to uric acid production in the body, so it's recommended to limit the intake of high-purine foods like liver, kidney, sardines, mackerel, sesame seeds, mushrooms, and beer.
🔴Foods containing pro-inflammatory substances: Some foods can stimulate the production of cytokines and inflammatory compounds in the body. Avoid foods high in sugar, fats, processed foods, and fried foods.
🔴High-cholesterol foods: Foods high in cholesterol can contribute to inflammation and harm joints. Avoid foods such as animal fats, fatty red meat, egg yolks, and processed foods high in cholesterol.
🔴Pure sugar foods: Foods and beverages with high refined sugar content can enhance inflammation. Limit refined sugar and sugary foods such as candies, sweets, soft drinks, and carbonated beverages.
✅Instead, maintain a balanced and nutritious diet rich in vegetables, fruits, foods high in omega-3 fatty acids (such as salmon), and calcium-rich foods to support immunity and joint health. Always consult with a doctor or nutritionist for specific advice based on your health condition.
