🌍🧘‍♀️ Celebrating the International Day of Yoga!🧘🏽 🌍

Aneth from Happy Yoga Tanzania and other yoga teachers from the Arusha yoga community joined the International Day of Yoga demonstration at Fun Retreat this year, organised by the High Commission of India, Kalakendra-Indian Cultural Association! 💚

It was a beautiful day of connection, movement, and shared energy with yoga lovers. 🙏✨

At Happy Yoga Tanzania, we’re passionate about creating spaces where people can pause, breathe, and reconnect — even in the middle of busy workdays. 💚

Today's corporate yoga session was filled with energy, mindfulness, and community spirit. From warming-up stretches to powerful poses, our lovely yoga teacher Aneth, led the employees in the beauty of movement and the joy of being present. 🌿✨

Join another celebration of the International Day of Yoga, organised by the High Commission of India, Kalakendra-Indian Cultural Association, in Arusha. On Sunday 29 June from 11:00 am onwards, in the Oasis Garden of Fun Retreat Resort. Practicing Chairyoga with Happy Yoga's parttime teacher Lucas Zakayo (from Maasai yoga) and our lovely students Kemi and Koku has been a great privilege and joy! Just back in Arusha for a short time in April, i was able to join some sessions with the Happy Yoga teachers and students🙏🏽😀.
Chairyoga is a gentle kind of yoga where a chair is used for balance, so the poses are also accessible for students with physical challenges. All aspects of yoga can be practiced, and at the end of the session a mat is used to do the final relaxation and meditation.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY THE CHILDREN OF MOIVARO COMMUNITY HAD YESTERDAY!
First they enjoyed the Kidsyoga class with 😃Happy Yoga's freelance teacher Lucas Zakayo (from Maasai yoga), and after the class they had a music lesson with lovely teacher Martine van Ham, from the Netherlands. What a great combination of activities! Martine will also offer her lesson after the Kidsyoga class at Highridge school this week.
Thank you Lucas for taking the initiative, Thank you Martine for offering such fun music lessons to our students.
