Mganilwa Medical and Research Institute (MMRI) is a Newly registered Institution that boundin provision and operate in a professional and technological approach. The institute operates by a team of experts with tremendous experience in various sectors. We ensure quality of service, cost effective and reliable services always to our customers/clients.
Mganilwa Medical and Research Institute (MMRI) is a registered Institute with registration number No: 138825124, with Tax Identification N umber (TIN NO: 138825124)and licensed to run and operates in different Operational Services in Tanzania.
Currently, the Institute is running a stand-alone Medical Laboratory situated in Kimara, Ubungo Municipality, which offers different types of investigations. This started laboratory started its operations since 2017.
Mganilwa Medical and Research Institute (MMRI) under its registration, is legally and authorized to operate and we provide the following services:
1. HEALTH EDUCATION
Health education is the education given to the people about common diseases. This will help to avoid related risk factors, prevention and health seeking behavior when a worker develops a certain disease. We normally conduct health education on Hypertension,Diabetes,STI,HIV/AIDS and other related diseases and conditions, in schools, colleges, camps, mining sites, construction sites, public and private offices, and alike.
2. HOME BASED CARE
The institute under its Medical and Health Services department, it provides services known as Home Based Care (HBC) in which patient/client receives attention health service at his/her home/work place instead of attending to the health facility. We have qualified and experienced health practitioners recognized by ministry of health. Our practitioners are consultants, specialist, Medical Doctors (MD), Nurses, Laboratory Scientists,Technologists and Technicians, Physiotherapists and other cadres. The following are among the cadres that we provide.

Palliative patient home care like dressing, changing positions,giving parenteral medications, counseling and alike so as to ensurequality health services start at home.
3. HEALTH SCREENING
Health screening is the process of checkup performed toassess the wellbeing, and fitness of the individual to see if there is any emerging disease in the body. Health Screening helps to detect early and silent disease(s) and take immediate action on it, then this will improve health status of your workers / Employees. People are examined in groups such as in Afya days/ Afya Talks, Family days, workshops and alike as it can be determined by Management side. We do screenfor Girls Pregnancy Testsin Schools, many diseases but among of them are as follows, HIV/AIDS,Blood pressure(BP),Random / Fast blood sugar(RBG/ FBG), Heart rate,Arterial oxygen saturation,BodyMass Index (BMI), and other screening. This is done through the Laboratory department under the Institute, which is a standard laboratory with a lot of equipment’s which started its laboratory operation since, 2017 and have reached more than 10,000 people attended under our Laboratory.
4. HIV/ AIDS SERVICE AND CONSULTANCY

5. MEDICAL AND PARAMEDICAL SERVICES
Our Institute also itprovides Medical Services and setting up Medical Clinics in Mining Sites, Industries, Construction Camps, Rigs,companies, onshore/offshore explorations,downstream/upstream operations and alike. We provide full emergence site Medical clinic setup, health personnel/professionals, medical supplies and consultancyaccording to demand of our customers., Ceremonial/ functions / gatherings/ get together party, Meetings and other occasions. Our Medical Clinic teams composed of (Medical Doctor, Nurse, Lab Technologist, and Paramedic) with a support of a standby full equipped ambulance in agreement if necessary.
6. MEDICAL EXAMINATION IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY RELATED
In this service workers are medically examined for the fitness of the job and any work-related diseases.
7. BASIC LIFE SUPPORT and FIRST AID TRAINING
Is the immediately service(s) offered to the patient/injured person(s) before taken to the immediate health facility. This is the paramount important because it reduces pain, suffering, further damage and death. So, the need of every person to have access to the first aid is unavoidable.
We provide various types of first aid, ranging from BLS, Life Skills, in work related areas, but also at health service delivery.
8. SPECIALIZED TRAINING
The Institute do provide training and skills lab for medical professionals, ranging from (Hospital, Heath Centre, Dispensary and Clinics Staffs) for Medical Professional’s such training are Life Skills, Basic life support, (Maternal and Newborn Health - BemoNC, CemONC, Basic Newborn Care Training, IPC, Quality Improvement, and other lifesaving training are conducted under our Institute. We have a pool of National Medical Professionals who are National TOT’s in specific areas.
9. CONSULTANCY ON FIRST AIDS KITS AND SUPPLY.
The Institute do provide Consultancy and supply of First aid kitswhich containing all the items and instruments needed for handling first aid service.
We provide emergency first aid kits and first responder bags of different qualities and size according to demand of your company/institution/work places for example in your offices, cars and workshops.
10. FIRST AID KITS SERVING
The Institute also is providing a monthly service to first aid kit through cleaning, restocking, removing expired drugs and update the quality of the kits so that to maintain provision high standard services. If you contract us for monthly servicing of your first aids kits, we will replenish material/drugs used if emergence occurs at any time within 24hrs free of charge. All kits/bags we supplytheycontains phone numbersthat can be used any time for assistance.
11. CLEANING AND SANITATION SERVICES
The Institute is providing quality service and affordable price, through the use of modern cleaning and sanitation equipment’s. We do provide services in various places not limited to Public and private Offices, Houses, Open Spaces, and clearing of glasses and bushes in specific places that can be determined at Particular time and location.
12. RESEARCH AND CONSULTANCY
