I tried contributing to the Ismaili Community by offering discounted Pranayama and Meditation Classes. I felt I got the treatment of being their slave. They complained about the lighting and the heat and even wanted the class 'their way'. My classes are not about yoga fashion, they are about spiritual development.

I saw for a fact that people came to the fajr 4-5am to the jamatkhana just sit and fart in the dark.

The first class the room was dirty, I paid for it to be cleaned. The second class, the room was STILL DIRTY, again I PAID for the cleaning, the third time I arranged with the worker to ensure the room was cleaned, and I PAID AGAIN.

It not about the money, it is about the principle. The jamatbhai at Upanga Jamatkhana is totally USELESS AND IS DRUNK.

Thinking of the. Money.... My group classes areTsh 30 000 per person per session. I have had a total attendance of 21 spaces in three weeks. This would have been Tsh 630 000.

I have contributed Tsh 630 000 into the jamat.

Next time at any lani ( food distribution) if I request more chai or an extra samosa or another glass of sherbet the Food Committee and its assistants should not say NO.

I have PAID Tsh 630 000 into the jamat.

What is the origin of the term Tree hugger?

"The first tree huggers were 294 men and 69 women belonging to the Bishnois branch of Hinduism, who, in 1730, died while trying to protect the trees in their village from being turned into the raw material for building a palace. They literally clung to the trees, while being slaughtered by the foresters. But their action led to a royal decree prohibiting the cutting of trees in any Bishnoi village. And now those villages are virtual wooded oases amidst an otherwise desert landscape.

Not only that, the Bishnois inspired the Chipko movement (chipko means “to cling” in Hindi) that started in the 1970s, when a group of peasant women in the Himalayan hills of northern India threw their arms around trees designated to be cut down. Within a few years, this tactic, also known as tree satyagraha, had spread across India, ultimately forcing reforms in forestry and a moratorium on tree felling in Himalayan regions." Our First OCPCC Clinic in Namibia, Africa (168 Clinics Worldwide and 2nd in Africa)

We are happy to announce that osteopath, Dr. Wolfgang Henckert, PhD(IT), PhD(MP), DO(Eu) represents our clinic, the Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada (OCPCC) in Windhoek, Namibia. This is our 2nd OCPCC clinic in Africa.
We now have 168 clinics worldwide in 14 countries and in 4 continents (America, Europe, Asia, Africa).

Dr Henckert has completed the doctor of osteopathy (DO) program of the National University of Medical sciences (Spain). He is also a member of the International Osteopathic Association (IOA).

OCPCC becomes operational in Spring of 2018. With 168 locations across the world OCPCC is the largest privately owned chronic pain clinic in the world.

All manual osteopaths joining OCPCC are chronic pain specialists who have graduated from one of our three schools, the National Academy of Osteopathy (Canada), National University of Medical Sciences (USA), or National University of Medical Sciences (Spain).
