Reiki, Rei- ki (chi), is an ancient energy hands on healing method, that channels chi universal energy, named also vital energy or life force, from the crown psychic center, point where it enters in the physical body to the hands of the healer. Its healing power affects the spiritual level, the energetic field of a person, where the energy imbalance begins, in order to stop the development of a psychosomatic illness that will end up in a disease and goes all the way to the cellular level.
Energy healing is crucial for health and well being in all levels: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.
In our physical body there are 7 mayor psychic energy centers that are like power wheels connected to the functioning of our body organs and 72.000 energy meridians, our energetic irrigation system that distributes chi (psychic energy) all over the body to keep us in an optimum health.
Low functioning of energy or overcharged energy rate circulations through these meridians are affecting the healthy energy flow.
An over accumulation of energy is the root cause of a very high percentage of unhealthy conditions. The sickness due to “to much energy” include pain, inflammation, cysts, tumors, cancer, as well as emotional imbalances like anger depression, anxiety, worry, grief and fear.
Low energy is the root cause of sickness like chronic fatigue syndrome and degenerative diseases such as osteoporosis, Alzheimer´s and Parkinson´s disease.
REIKI healing restores energy imbalance and promotes mental, emotional and physical health.
There are 3 main causes of ill health:
energy blockages
matter blockages
spiritual blockages
All illnesses, whether of the physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual body, are caused by one or more of these blockages.
"If chi flows, one is healthy. If chi is blocked, one is sick."
Illness is caused by chi blockage at the cellular level, that can cause energy blockages and matter blockages.
How does chi get blocked? Energy and matter blockages.
When cells contract, matter inside the cells turns into energy outside of the cells. When cells expand, the energy outside the cells transforms into matter inside the cells. Health depends on a relative balance in this transformation between matter and energy at the cellular level. The effect of the illness is always seen at the cellular level, in the form of an imbalance in the transformation between matter and energy. If that transformation is not balanced, then sickness occurs, no matter what other cause has been identified. If that transformation can remain in relative balance, sickness will not occur, even in the presence of other "causes" of illness. This balance will naturally prevent sickness and maintain optimum health.
Spiritual blockages are the result of mistakes you have made in previous lives and in your current life. These mistakes are recorded in the spiritual world as bad karma, which means "bad virtue" or "bad deeds." Any harmful acts, behaviors, and even thoughts that you create, including killing, harming, stealing, and cheating, will add to your bad karma. All the activities, behaviors, and thoughts of one 's life are recorded in the Akashic Records, or the Book of Life, which contains the history of every soul in the universe since creation.
Karma, which means the "record of services," can be divided into good and bad. Service that benefits humanity and the universe is categorized as good karma. Service that harms humanity and the universe is categorized as bad karma. Spiritual law clearly states: a person with good karma will receive blessings from the spiritual world, including good health, relationships, finances, family, and every aspect of life. A person with bad karma will pay a price and learn lessons. Bad karma is the root of blockages and disasters in every aspect of life.
