The visit encompassed objectives such as handling cases of Fistula, cleft lip, cleft palate, cerebral palsy, talipes equinovarus, and assisting pregnant women in delivering, both in a birth pool and on a delivery bed, while accommodating their preferred positions.

We are grateful for the invaluable cooperation and knowledge provided by the CCBRT staff, contributing to the achievement of our study objectives.

KMC does not only strengthens the bonding between mother and newborn but also plays a crucial role in preventing hypothermia, one of the leading causes of neonatal death.

Additionally, we participated in launching a special project aimed at promoting specialized care for premature babies from the the level of health centre lto the national hospital level in Tanzania.

Team Tasma attended the White Coat Ceremony, which signifies the beginning of medical students' journeys, also symbolizes professionalism, caring, and trust, qualities they must earn during studies. It was held during the Freshers' Orientation Week at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences.

During the event, new members of Tasma was dressed in white coats by our own Midwife Officer Mr. Ally Abdul as a sign of welcoming our fellow midwife students, who are ready to begin their academic journey at MUHAS.

Congratulations for choosing a profession that ensures neither mother nor baby will die due to reproductive problems.
