In May/June 2015, Madrasa Early Madrasa Early Childhood Programme (MECP) – Zanzibar and Aga Khan Foundation contracted DAMAX to undertake final evaluation of its Early Childhood Care and Development Project in Zanzibar and Pemba. In March 2015, CARE/Tanzania Contracted us to undertake the final evaluation of the TABASAM PROJECT (Accelerating Efforts to Improve Maternal, Newborn and Child Health In Tabora Region)
In February 2014, DAMAX was contracted by PLAN International to undertake a baseline Study on Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) in selected communities in Mwanza and Coast regions. In April 2014, DAMAX was contracted by CCBRT to undertake Assessment on Capacity and Commitment of selected health facilities to implement Gender-Sensitize comprehensive fistula management services for the coming five to ten years. In October, 2014 DAMAX was contracted by Save the Children Tanzania to undertake a final evaluation of the Fight Child Labor Project in Pemba and interviewed 340 children engaged or at risk of worst form of labor, 174 guardian, sheha, teachers, shehia committees, women income generating groups, ministry officials and district officials.WE evaluated the capacity of sub-grantees to implement child labor interventions. In November 2014, CARE/Tanzania contracted DAMAX to undertake final evaluation of its project on Making Market Work for Women- an empowerment project which among other thing focused on improving utilization of reproductive health services. We deployed both qualitative and quantitative methodology to collect data from more than 100 respondents in Dar essalaam and Pemba. DAMAX was contracted by CARE/Canada through CARE International in Tanzania in October 2013 to conduct an assessment of Health Management Information System (HMIS) in Tabora Region as part of the implementation of Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Project.
