MHS-Massana Hospital was founded in 1995 by the Late Prof.R.S.M Lema (MD, MMED(O/G) FBRH.) The Hospital has progressively continued to develop into a small modern teaching Hospital. Its College of Nursing established in 2005 is growing fast in the Health sector. Vision

To maintain a high degree of quality care by providing the best services that will ultimately sustain growth of the hospital to

become the role model of successful modern teaching hospital inTanzania. Mission

Massana Hospital is guided by its mission statement which is to promote the health and wellbeing of the local population in Mbezi Beach Area and from all over Dar es Salaam city and Tanzania at large by providing accessible, and affordable high quality medical care for people of all ages. We are committed in providing excellent preventive diagnostic and curative services maintaining high ethical standard and quality.
