Tanzania Pharmaceutical Students' Association (TAPSA) The name of the Association shall be referred to as TAPSA. Currently TAPSA represents about 360 pharmacy students from MUHIMBILI UNIVERSITY, ST.

TAPSA, formerly known as ADUPS (association of dar es salaam university pharmaceutical students) was founded in Mid August 1987 by MUHIMBILI University Pharmacy Students, when muhimbili was a collage of university of dar es salaam. when muhimbili became a full university in 2007 ADUPS was changed in to TAPSA (Tanzania Pharmaceutical students' Association) aiming at uniting all pharmacy students in Tanzania. JOHNโ€™S UNIVERSITY and St. Augustineโ€™s University of TANZANIA( BUCHS). TAPSA IS a full member of IPSF (international pharmaceutical students' federation)

PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

The African Federation of Medical Laboratory Science Studentsโ€™ Associations (AFMLSSA) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Pharmaceutical Studentsโ€™ Federation African Regional Office (IPSF AFRO).

This partnership marks a strategic step toward strengthening interprofessional collaboration, expanding capacity-building opportunities, and advancing youth-led contributions to public health and healthcare development across Africa.

Together, AFMLSSA and IPSF AFRO are committed to fostering shared learning, innovation, and impactful programs that empower the next generation of healthcare leaders on the continent.

The Tanzania Pharmaceutical Studentsโ€™ Association (TAPSA) invites applications from eligible and motivated pharmaceutical students to apply for new leadership positions for the 2025/2026 term.

These positions are established in line with the TAPSA Constitution and inspired by the International Pharmaceutical Studentsโ€™ Federation (IPSF) structure, aiming to strengthen leadership, advocacy, education, public health, professional development, and student welfare across Tanzania.
