The Seminar was sponsored by SNV. The overall goal of the seminar was to sensitize and build capacity on their fellow women’s confidence to contest and secure various positions in the Local Government Authorities and Central Government Elections in general. These women were strongly moved by that seminar. They realized their duties before them i.e. sensitizing their fellow women especially Girl Ch
ild on understanding their Education, Reproductive Health, Entrepreneurship Skills, Lobbying and Advocacy and Human Rights in general. They (women) knew that it was impossible for them to achieve their goals and objectives without having a strong COALITION and NETWORKING. This could help them to VOICE their VOICES loudly together. In 2008, this network was registered as a Non- Governmental Organization called Kagera Women Network (KAWOCO-NET) with Reg. The network is allowed to carry her duties allover Tanzania.
