Wellness Foods Tanzania Limited is seeking to establish long-term partnerships with reliable suppliers and farmers for a consistent supply of maize, soya, and sunflower seeds to support our layer hen feed production. Currently, we are feeding 5,000 hens, with a projected 10% annual increase in production capacity.

*Supply Requirements:*

Maize: High-quality, clean, and aflatoxin-free.

Soya Beans: Non-GMO, properly dried, and free from contaminants.

Sunflower Seeds: High oil content, clean, and properly processed.

Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Job Summary:
The Accountant will manage the financial transactions, records, and reporting for Wellness Foods Tanzania. The accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial activities, including reconciliations, budget monitoring, tax compliance, and payroll processing, helping drive financial efficiency and effectiveness across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and submit timely tax filings

Conduct daily tax reconciliation and assist in tax-related audits and queries

Develop and maintain a client and service provider database

Generate monthly financial reports for management review

Manage petty cash and maintain controls in line with our procedures

Collaborate with departments to improve financial processes and control costs

Provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA certification or similar professional qualification is preferred
