Forever globally success stories
I am Emma Achoki, Bachelor Commerce (accounting option) graduate and best in my class then. I am also CPA K qualified and have a post graduate degree,MBA. I worked for many years in a leading audit firm both in Kenya and Tanzania before going into real estate development. I have grown a successful real estate development Company that has built houses in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu.
Sometime last year, I was looking to diversify my income and stumbled upon network marketing through Forever Living products. I never would have imagined going into network marketing but the system I was introduced to was professional and so I decided I did not have anything to loose – if for nothing else, my family and I could do with health products that I needed at the time.
Once i got involved, I realized that it is an amazing industry and the way of the future. In summary, it is a way of getting goods to market that is different from what we are used to. In the traditional system, Companies spend millions on advertising – network marketing companies rely on word of mouth advertising which is really powerful. It also relies on social networks – and the social media have shown us how powerful this can be – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn,Tumbler etc It is the direction the world is moving in. When we look at the example of Facebook,we realize that Mark Zuckerberg created a platform where he invited a few friends to join ,who also invited their friends and their friends invited their friends and now we have one billion users on Facebook.
In network marketing, I invite my friend to either use the products or be involved in the business and as they invite their friends who invites their friends,my customer base and network grows and I have been able to earn good money. It is simple, it is profitable. So simple and profitable that it has been endorsed by business gurus Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki among others.
It is also an industry that is here to stay – in the US, the University of Illinois in Chicago (a leading US university) holds a certificate course in Network Marketing. It is led by a Harvard trained university professor – a former network marketing skeptic. He initially did not trust the industry and as he researched it to build a case against it, he found all the benefits of the industry and now trains people on the industry.
So for me the industry meets the credibility test though it has been widely misunderstood and mistrusted. My work is to try and undo the misunderstanding and mistrust.
What I like most about the industry is that it allows you to grow and earn income while teaching others to do the same. You are rewarded the highest for developing other people – learning and teaching them what you have learnt – and asking them to do the same for others.
When I fully understood the business, I moved to become a recognized Manager in four months. My work schedule means that I cannot do the business all the time – again the beauty of it – you can do it part-time.
For any mother who would want to spend more time with her children while still having an income, any man who would need extra income to supplement his income, anyone looking to retire early and have an opportunity to tour the world, own a dream home, drive a car of choice, looking to have extra money to serve God or society – this business is ethical, straightforward and it works.
