I work with a lot of women who are either going through menopause, or on either side of it (perimenopause or post-menopause).
In most cases, the same old weight loss tricks don’t seem to work as well.
Our metabolism doesn’t change too much between our 20s to our 60s
But our lifestyles DO!
So, when working out how to lose weight during menopause, a holistic approach tends to work best.
Going low carb can help but isn’t always necessary.
Here are the main areas that I focus on:
👉 Eating the right amount of food for your lifestyle (i.e. prioritising protein)
👉 Managing stress
👉 Reducing alcohol
👉 Incorporating strength training
I help you lose weight in stages, usually 10% at a time with breaks to make it sustainable (which helps you keep it off for life).
