Chitosan-S is an antiviral preparation against ascospherosis, nosematosis, foulbrood&chalkbrood and others
Chitosan-S is a therapeutic and prophylactic preparation based on the complex of chitosan from aerobic spore-forming bacteria Bacillus subtilis. The drug is a new generation probiotic with a wide spectrum of antagonistic activity against pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, as well as antiviral activity in bee diseases such as ascospherosis, nosematosis, foulbrood&chalkbrood and others. The drug stimulates the protective reactions of bees and the immunity of bees to pathogens. The components of the preparation, after the targeted effect, are quickly disposed of in the body of bees with the help of special enzymes that ensure its ecological safety.
How to use the preparation?
2.5 g of the preparation is dissolved in 10 liters of sugar syrup (immediately before use) and used for one-time feeding of 10 bee colonies.
It is recommended to use several times per season, in the spring after the first flight and in the fall during the winter feeding.
Composition of the preparation:
chitosan complex - Bacillus subtilis bacteria - 2500 mg.
Packaging: Chitosan-S dry concentrate in a plastic container (without outer packaging).
Shelf life and storage conditions
Shelf life of dry concentrate: 12 months. The date after which preparation testing is recommended is indicated on the label (EXP....). Storage temperature: 4-25ºC, in a dry place protected from light.

BAC T45 is a wax moths destructor
BAC T45 is a natural preparation containing Bacillus thuringiensis bacteria, destroys only larvae of the big wax moth, prevents further infestation of bee-farms by big wax moth larvae during the whole subsequent honey-gathering season, ensures the safety of wax wax. When treating the affected frames, the preparation causes death of wax moth larvae on the 5-7th day. The preparation is environmentally safe, does not disturb bee activity, does not affect the quality of honey. The preparation should be used after the honey harvest, when the frames are placed in storage. Protection will be effective during the entire storage period, until the frames are installed in the hive in the new season.
How to use
The preparation is for external application.
1) all the contents of the container (60g) dilute in 2 liters of boiled water at room temperature;
2) the working solution to treat the frames on both sides by spraying (sprayer). Consumption per one frame is 15-20ml;
3) before placing the treated frames in storage, let them dry in a ventilated room;
4) after dilution with water, the preparation should be used within one day, so before mixing the preparation with water, it is necessary to calculate the amount of solution for treatment of the available number of frames. One container of 60g is enough to treat 100-130 frames Dadan 300mm or 200-260 frames 145mm;
5) in case of contact of the preparation with eyes rinse them with water.
How to store the preparation
Shelf life of the preparation at t 2÷8°C (refrigerator) - 18 months.
After dilution the preparation should be stored not more than 24 hours.
Composition of the preparation
The preparation contains biologically active substance - bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis (titer of the preparation, not less than 5x10x9 CFU/g).
What the package includes
Packaging: 60g of dry powder of the preparation in a container.

Technology for the preparation of inverted syrup with citric acid

The high chemical activity of citric acid provides a high degree of sucrose inversion (up to 80-95%). Citric acid creates a level of acid reaction in the syrup as in natural honey (pH3.5-3.8). This has a positive effect on the digestion of bees. At the same time, active acidity is created in the intestines, which ensures the good functioning of the re**al glands and the formation of a sufficient amount of the catalase enzyme. The result is a good winter.
Inventory syrup requires 30% less consumption than classic syrup prepared by diluting sugar in hot water. If you fed 1 hive with 12 liters of classic syrup, then you need 8 liters of inventory syrup.
Syrup preparation technology
1. In the process of inverting syrup, the main conditions are the concentration of the inverting substance (invert), the temperature regime and the inversion time at a given temperature.
2. 70% syrup is being prepared, for example, for 10kg of sugar you need 4.3 liters of water, the total weight is 14.3kg. The sugar-water mixture is heated in a water bath to a predetermined temperature (70-100°C), periodically mixed, and after complete dissolution of sugar, invert (citric acid) is added. After adding the invert, the solution is actively mixed for 1 minute and then every 10 minutes.
3. The concentration of invert is 2g of citric acid per 1kg of sugar (2.2g of citric acid monohydrate, sold in the store). Temperature regime - 70-100°C, inversion time at given temperatures - 90-70min (higher temperature - less inversion time).
4. Upon completion of the inversion process, the resulting syrup must be quickly cooled to a temperature of 35-40°C.
Recommendations: for quick cooling, pour the prepared syrup into a large container and dilute it by 50% with the previously prepared cold syrup.
