1️Many people in Nigeria are struggling to support their families due to rapidly escalating food prices.
2️Conflict and insecurity continue to hamper humanitarian operations in northeastern states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe.
3️The number of internally displaced people in the northeast also reached a new all-time high of over 2 million in September, while more than one million children are acutely malnourished.
4️83 percent of households in the northeast are deprived of food and 26 percent suffer from moderate to severe acute malnutrition.
5️WFP uses either food or cash transfers to support 1.9 million people in need of assistance in Nigeria.
