Young Football Volunteers / Молоді футбольні волонтери The project “Young Football Volunteers: Sport and Volunteering for Millennium Development Goals”

The project aims to meet the Millennium Development Goals, with primary focus on HIV/AIDS prevention using volunteering and sport to promote social cohesion, strengthen civil society, and improve physical and social health of youth (from 12 to 20 years of age) in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the oblasts of Kherson and Mykolayiv. The project is financed by the UN Office on Sport for Developme

nt and Peace (UNOSDP), United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine (UNDP), and UN Volunteers Programme (UNV) in partnership with the Ministry for Youth and Sports and Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU). Young Football Volunteers was launched in 2012 and will continue its work with rural youth until 2015.
