How to meditate properly?
The right choice of equipment depends on personal preferences. Meditate with both eyes open and closed. You can practice sitting, standing, lying down, and even walking. The phrase "letting go of thoughts" sounds quite simple, but it is a very complex skill that is acquired with experience. The main thing is to remember that for the first time, different fantasies and memories will constantly come to your head, distracting you from the process of relaxation. This is absolutely normal. Just gently switch your attention to your breathing each time, don't blame yourself for not being able to concentrate, and don't think that you are doing something badly. This is how it should be: the brain can't be empty, it is locked up for constant reflection. Over time, you will be able to be at rest, regardless of the thoughts that come and go.
