The construction of the Tredegar House on a 90-acre property began in 1664 and was completed in 1672. This property was the home of the Morgan family, which eventually became Lords Tredegar, a highly influential family in the area. The house was originally built on stone but was expanded using red bricks. Since March 2012, Tredegar’s House is now a historical landmark that is under the supervision of the National Trust.
